The site has been sent the following piece of art reportedly from DC's Watchmen 2 project for the planned prequel featuring Silk Spectre II. Seemingly drawn by artist Amanda Conner (who was recently linked to the comic book series) it may be our first look at how the Alan Moore and Dave Gibbons created character will appear in the controversial new series. Whether it is indeed the real deal and associated with the prequel isn't 100% confirmed at this point, but stay tuned for more details as and when they're made available.

Seems like so, especially with Bleeding Cool itself holds that so-called project that they used to reveal both the designs of Nite-Owl II and Comedian in the past. But that design...looks bad.

I can guarantee you 100% that that isn't related at all to the Watchmen prequel comics. Just look at those earrings, Spectre wouldn't wear Comedian's symbol, not after her mother was violated by him.

And those aren't anal beads, perverts. It's a plain regular bead hippie necklace that she beat out of some Woodstock gathering. Which also explains the drugs.

Let's don't jump to conclusions just yet. This might just be a commissioned piece for a fan and someone just thought it would be cool if they could get it passed off as legit.

Also, it could very well be someone at DC testing the waters to see what "fanboys" think of the designs.

So until something official comes out I would be skeptical of everything.

Seriously, oh God, no! That's Horrible! The movie did a good job at adapting the costume, stick with something like that. If this is her real costume I won't be buying this.

@JohnArturo- you make sense. I just hope the writing is good and dc doesn't destroy the watchmen credibility in order to make money.

@sarahsatire haha love dead space, love that moment. About this picture though, you don't have to read it you know. But you probably will just because of the curious nature of the project... I know I will just to see how bad or good it is.. :P

I'm laughing so hard right now, it's taking forever to type this. Not just the submitted piece, but the awesome response. jazzman, I love the bad cartoon. Priceless. I grew up in the 70's when there was so much wrong in the world of cartoons. That satire nails it. But sadly, maybe, the Amanda Conner art does as well.

@grifter For real! One of the best horror games ever! And yeah... the curiosity is what keeps me reading.
