COMICS: ANT-MAN #1 Brings Big Time Heroics To Microscopic Levels This January

This January, the Marvel Universe’s smallest super hero is ready for the big time as Scott Lang takes center stage in Ant-Man #1, the new ongoing series from Nick Spencer and Ramon Rosanas as they prepare to take Scott Lang to new heights and microscopic depths...

Scott Lang has never been the world’s best super hero. Heck, most people don’t even think he’s been the best Ant-Man – and the last guy created Ultron and joined the Masters of Evil, so that’s really saying something. But all that’s about to change when the Superior Iron Man calls up Scott with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! This is his chance to turn it all around. New city. New outlook. New Scott. Nothing is going to stop the astonishing Ant-Man! You know, until something ruins it all. Don’t miss the blockbuster first chapter in his new ongoing series when ANT-MAN #1 hits comic shops this January!

This looks better than that AXIS garbage. I'd like to see more underrated Marvel characters get more spotlight.

Ant-Man is such a cool concept. But I understand why some think it's lame but it's their loss.

I normally would have no interest in Lang's Ant Man but this....was actually pretty good. Love the internal monologue. Hoping this is the version of the character we get in the film, and I'm sure it is (or we wouldn't be getting this series at all imo). Sheds light on why Paul Rudd was cast as well, because he seems perfectly suited for this character. I can imagine him delivering all of those lines. Cool stuff. I may actually pick this up.

I've actually really enjoyed Axis. Haven't gotten into most of the tie ins but the main book is good imo. I'm surprised so many don't like it or are just meh about it. Very cool concept imo. Not nearly as strong as some of Remender's other work though. Uncanny x force was amazing. His uncanny avengers is also very good.
