COMICS: Aquaman Outsells Every Marvel Comic Book Again But MARVEL Still Wins The Market Share

DC dominated the Top 10 comic books sold in February but Marvel still owns the market share with 35.92% of sales coming from Marvel titles.

Justice League, Batman, Action Comics, Detective Comics, Green Lantern, Batman: The Dark Knight, Superman, Flash, Aquaman and Batman & Robin gave DC comics a second straight Top 10 sweep over publishing rival Marvel.

Indeed, the Top 10 comic books sold in February were once again all DC titles but Marvel still took the market share with 35.92% versus 29.47% for DC. HOWEVER, it should be noted that there was an extra week in February, during which DC sat out and Marvel did not. This is most likely the cause in the noticeable market share gap and it's been reported by Bleeding Cool that DC won't be sitting out that extra week in May when the same scenario occurs.

I expect a similar performace in March but all bets are off when Marvel launches AvsX in April.
