Coming to comic book stores around the country on May 5, Free Comic Book Day is right around the corner - and now we've got a first look at the until-now top secret cover to the DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 FCBD EDITION, illustrated by legendary artist and DC Entertainment Co-Publisher Jim Lee. This cover will be featured on all customized editions and standard copies alike.

In addition to the cover, Lee will also be illustrating five pages for the comic book's interior, including a four-page JUSTICE LEAGUE gatefold to accompany a brand new story by New York Times bestselling writer and DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns.

Lee also provided custom art for the Free Comic Book Day t-shirt, featuring his redesign of the JUSTICE LEAGUE for DC COMICS-THE NEW 52 in an homage to a classic piece by José Luis García-López.

Also debuting the first week in May is JUSTICE LEAGUE VOLUME ONE: ORIGIN, the hardcover volume collecting the first story arc of the flagship series for DC COMICS-THE NEW 52. Written by Johns and illustrated by Lee, the story looks at the dawn of the age of superheroes, setting the tone for the historic company initiative.
