Good art but this series still sucks.

Its too bad Cap is one of my favorites and I really want to pick up his title but Remender is just terrible.

Oh well I'll pick it up when they reboot it in a couple months.

Yes, Remender isn't impressing me either. Brubaker left Cap with such a positive vibe at the end of his incredible series. It now appears that Remender is dismantling everything. I've had enough of Marvel deconstructing their heros! I would like to read stories that leave me feeling good instead of pissed off. KillingSharon was was just a bit too much. Even though I know she will return at some point, Marvels refusal to allow their heros to have long lasting and fulfilling relationships seems so counter productive. I can't get interested in any romantic relationships in Marvels books knowing they will eventually come to nothing.

Remender's Captain America is one of the worst Marvel now titles. The dimension Z story was was bad and made no sense. The second Arc was very meh. Really miss Brubaker's writing

"Batman has the Joker and Spider-Man has Venom, in Captain Steve Rogers' case, it's Johan Schmidt, the Red Skull."

Uh
Venom isn't what I'd call Spider-Man's arch-enemy. That goes to Doc Ock or Green Goblin.
Couldn't let that slide.

That first pic represents everything that's wrong with comic book heroes today. The de-superfying of Marvel's characters because the movies need to present a more realistic face. Who cares what's going on in the movies? They're screwing up the story lines anyway. Baggy jeans, a child safety helmet plus a very fetching chin strap, and knee pads (so he doesn't skin his widdle knees). What does Cap even keep in that utility belt anyway?
I don't WANT my heroes so groused they can't fly.
What's next . . . his shield gets bent often and needs weekly replacing? I mean, just how unrealistic is adamantium any way?

I'm glad they identified who the woman was. I thought, for a second there, that Cap had recruited Big Barda to help him out. All I could think of was "some Nazis are going to get straight up slaughtered if Barda's there!"
