COMICS: Details And Closer Look At New AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Suit And Spider-Mobile

Pretty much everything you ever loved about Spider-Man will be gone later this year thanks to the "All-New, All Different" relaunch which will see Peter Parker portrayed as a millionaire industrialist and Spider-Man a hero loved around the world who is now Peter's bodyguard. Seriously...

Remember how ridiculous it was when Tony Stark pretended Iron Man was his bodyguard? Well, that's now what Peter Parker will be doing with his Spider-Man alter-ego in Dan Slott's relaunched Amazing Spider-Man series. According to MTV News, tech company Parker Industries has exploded in popularity after the events of Secret Wars, meaning that Peter has become "an international icon" and Spider-Man "is on shirts, posters, toys, games and more all over the world."

Spider-Man will also now be facing global threats in places like London and Shaghai, and that's why he has a new Spider-Mobile. Designs for that can be seen below along with the new tech heavy costume he'll be wearing. What do you guys think about this plan for Spider-Man? A natural evolution in Peter's life or too drastic a departure from what has always made the character great?

This is an atrocious idea ! I have never liked the idea of Spider-Man driving a car. It defeats the object of his character.

i respect the fact that they're trying to grow Spider-Man, evolve him to his next logical step but this....is....a bit cartoony. Maybe it won't suck, but they'll have to work at it. and yeah, very like Tony Stark. JABSH - Just Another Billionaire Super Hero....

Since he's traveling, naturally he needs a vehicle. What is gonna do in locales where there's nothing to swing off of?

I'm down. I mean you can't have the same stories for 75 years. He always commenting on how hard his life is. Maybe we will see a new side that's happy and batman-esque. Hell, maybe even a little more respect as a badass hero.

So basically Superior Spider-Man meets Batman, I can dig it. to me this feels actually like the natural progression of the character. Now that he's finally successful out of the suit he can throw that back into his time IN the suit. I like it. And even if Spidey has money now that doesn't make him Stark or Wayne. That said I'm sure this will lead to some mistakes for him, and the return of that Parker Luck!

Not a fan of the webbing under the arm pits, never been a fan of designs where artists add that.

Take those away though & the new look suit is pretty cool, I like it.

UGH...This would not be that big of a deal if not for the way marvel is insisting this is the next few decades of Marvel. Peter parker as Tony Stark is just a terrible idea that has never worked in the past...being married to a super-model hurt the idea of Parker as a working class every man, for example...making him supoer rich goes against everything he ever was meant to be.
I. Am. Done.

Okay, you know what? I'm pretty optimistic about most of the All-New, All-Different stuff so far. I like the characters, the costumes, the new direction- most of the time. But at some point, you have to draw the line, and this is where I'm drawing mine. This SUCKS. Spidey finally getting the recognition he deserves in the eyes of the public is great, and a welcome change (I can never understand how a guy can save New York City from being trashed by super-villains almost EVERY DAY and still be seen as a menace), but as an industrialist? No way. Making Spidey rich undermines an absolutely fundamental part of his character- his relatability. Spidey represents the everyman, the common-man superhero who, despite having great power, still has to deal with the pressures and struggles of everyday life, whether as a teenager or an adult. Making him a millionaire takes that away, and with it goes quite possibly the single most important aspect of the character.

Also, wasn't this one of the alternate futures in One More Day?

what was wrong with him being a married professor? having kids? and figuring out that new balance? for me, spider-man ended with #500. there were some glimmers of hope after that one, but in reality, they just kept on raping the character. screw them.
