If people had read the last few issues they'd know that Hulk is slowly transforming into Maestro. Even if you haven't there are clues. The advanced intelligence, the new haircut, a sudden pompous personality. He even remarked that he's going to grow a beard.

Smart hulk came after the first issue of the new hulk #1. My biggest problem is that this hulk was not in axis, in daredevils comic there's no mention of axis or iron man being in town even though there beating the crap out of each other. Not saying dc is perfect but c'Mon man!

I'm all for diversity but changing iconic characters just for change ( or studio rights) is going to damage Marvels rep.
Female Thor? The last I read the Mythological god was a man not a woman, Captain America was concasin and was created in the 40's! Marvel should be creative and bring New Characters to the MCU and not ruin the one we enjoy, bring back Thor and Wolverine!!!! Where the Original Hulk??

By the way I'm not Caucasian and I grew up in the South Bronx ( not a racist) I just enjoy reading the charterters I grew up with.

I like the Falcon, keep him as the Falcon not CA. Bring back Steve Rogers, like they brought back the Character in MAOS.

@Joeybagadouhnu If you've been reading since the New Avengers the writers are actually fulfilling the future that's been hinted at for the past 10 years. Hulk becoming Maestro, Thor becoming All Father, Cap no longer carrying the mantle. Its all comming true. For example Thor has lost his arm and has been replaced with a metal one, exactly like All Father Thor. Hulk is slowly transforming into Maestro and has been seeing visions of him and in the Kang storyline of Heroic Age we are shown that future Hulk is Meastro. The Thor complaint I actually agree, but I do like the development Thor is getting from this arc which will undoubtedly not last too long (think Superior Spiderman). But Falcon as Cap? I disagree. What gives Bucky the right to wear the costume and not Sam? He and Hawkeye were actually candidates to be Cap after he died, before Bucky was even considered, but they found it disrespectful. So I think Falcon is a fine replacement.

@Joeybagadouhnu & @AstonishingArachnid I can't help but see things from both perspectives, but the hardest part for me is the lack of continuity that Marvel is showing with their books. In one title Hulk is Savage in another he's "Doc Green". In most of the books Thor still doesn't sport the cybernetic arm despite the fact that he lost it on his first outing without his hammer and there is no mentions of the female Thor other than in the actual book, so it's almost like she don't exist yet. There is way too much going on at the same time in the Marvel timeline at this point for everyone to be everywhere. Spidey can't be fighting in Axis and the Spider-Verse storyline at the same time, but they are running together. Wolverine is "dead" and Sabertooth has been turned, but in the Wolverine books he's still a psychopath. The Avengers are fighting a war against the Illuminati in the future. What happen to a somewhat cohesive Marvel universe with solo/team issues doing Tie-Ins to a main event story?

@SecretAvengers001 - agreed. really drives me crazy reading books that came out in the same week with the same character in 2 places at once. if they are taking place at different times then acknowledge that or just respect the "cohesive" universe.

New...characters...don't... work.

Everyone can tell marvel to make new characters untill they turn blue and pass out but they just don't work.

What's the last new character to become big?

The money is in the classic characters. It's easier to pass the shield to falcon or the hammer to...whoever it is that has it.

@AstonishingArachnid,

Thank you for the info, please keep in mind there have been of Futwure story lines with Marvel since the 80's and I understand the concept but this one is not fluid. As SecretAvenger001 pointed out there is no cohesiv plan it seems.

I never agreed with some of the story lines with CA from the steriod issues from Bucky Becoming Cap. Cap to me at least is about a skinny patriotic kid overcoming adversity to Join the Arm forces to help his country and in the process becoming a super solder. Bucky or Sam did not go through this process so they can never become CA. Call them the Falcon or the Wintere Solder.
If your looking for a Symbol then use another Iron Patriot.

@SecretAvenger001 Your right in some respects, but I've come to realise that with events all comic storylines are before the event unless it's a tie in comic, and when the event is over all comics are occurring after it. So Sabretooth is still a psycho in Wolverine because it's before the inversion spell in AXIS. Spider Verse is before AXIS so Spidey is in both. Hulk has been Doc Green since Original Sin. He hasn't been savage in any of his appearances since, unless it's a flashback. I just double checked but as far as I can tell for Thor he has his cybernetic arm in both Thor and AXIS the only two comic series I've seen him in lately. And the female Thor thing is something I have seen referenced, but only by Deadpool and Hawkeye however if they know the others must too. It's the same for DC as well. It's a general rule of comic books that's existed for years.
Joeybagadoughnu
Joeybagadoughnu - 1/3/2015, 9:28 AM
I believe Thor was Thor before he got the Hammer, the Hammer doesn't make the God it only provide him with a great weapon.
Thor was king Giants before he had the Hammer so the story lines are confusing when they say the new Female God is Thor.

Can I say Thor enough? :)

Killing Giants not King Giants.

But the comic wasn't really that big for years. Marvel got lucky with that movie. REALLY lucky.

royroy- the new ms marvel is doing very well from what i can gather. if you put time and effort into characters eventually people will come to like them, some of the most popular characters around now wherent always popular.
kinghulk
kinghulk - 1/3/2015, 9:37 AM
Joeybagadoughnu- what i dont like about the cap change is sam is acting and talking like steve and the other avengers are respecting him and trusting him as though he was steve. if sam was still being falcon as cap i wouldn't mind as much but it annoys me that he's acting as if he is steve.
Joeybagadoughnu
Joeybagadoughnu - 1/3/2015, 9:37 AM
I believe all the changes they have been making has to do with Movie rights (with the exception for a few, Ca, Thor).

Wolverine, Spideman, Ff!

And then they make new changes to characters like the Scarlet Witch. QS, Inhumans, to fit the new Universer.

royroy - 1/3/2015, 9:39 AM
@kinghulk

Yeah true...but she still counts as putting an old name on another face.

How would she be doing If she wasn't "ms. Marvel" ?
Joeybagadoughnu
Joeybagadoughnu - 1/3/2015, 9:41 AM
@kinghulk,

I Agree. Like I said I enjoyed the Falcon over the years, why change him into CA and not build his Character up as the Falcon.

Joeybagadoughnu
Joeybagadoughnu - 1/3/2015, 9:44 AM
@royroy,

Characters are only as good as the story line. DeadPool is a prime example.
kinghulk
kinghulk - 1/3/2015, 9:49 AM
Royroy- i think she would do fine without the name personally, the name isant exactly a guaranteed money maker im sure carol's run as ms marvel has been cancelled a few times in the past. it isant all about the name, it's about the characters, writing and art usually is all 3 appeal to people then it will sell.

point is all the best selling characters started out as new characters at one point but over time they gained popularity.
(i have ideas for original character all of which i created to try and add more diversity, all i need if for marvel to do a contest to create a new hero now lol)
AstonishingArachnid
AstonishingArachnid - 1/3/2015, 9:52 AM
@Kinghulk Same thing happened with Bucky. But if you're put in a situation like that you need to step up and take control. Being Cap gives you huge shoes to fill so you have to act the part, not just look it. For example Nightwing is nothing like Batman, but when he took up the mantle he took on his personality as well.
royroy
royroy - 1/3/2015, 9:53 AM
Marvel should actually do a create a hero contest. Let the fans vote and they can't complain cause they freaking voted for it. Lol
kinghulk
kinghulk - 1/3/2015, 9:57 AM
AstonishingArachnid- good point, but it can be a bit irritating, it feel like the writers went ok he's cap now not sam wilson so he's gotta talk like cap and cat like him without leaving any of sam's personality in there.
