"Spider-Verse" is in full swing (no pun intended), and in this first look at Spider-Verse #2, we see a variety of Spider-Men in action, but perhaps most interesting is a glimpse at the final battle between them and the villainous Inheritors. Hit the jump to check it out!

Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield Versions of Spider-man meeting in this would be truly "Amazing" if not "Spectacular"

Is there a way to use Gwen Stacey in Civil War(movie) to take Spider-Man's place?

Is this the "Spectacular Spider-Man" version of 2099!? If so I'm in! The "Spectacular" Universe lives on!

Still not as great as if the Peter Parker version showed up instead of 2099.

FYI: Spider-Woman actually was created with NOTHING to do with Spider-man, and often gets lumped into his universe because she has Spider in her name (which is stupid, it'd be like lumping every hero that has the word "Captain" in their name into the same universe)...mind you, they are all in the Marvel Universe, I am speaking on a rights point of view.
Spider-Woman was created as a one off character by Marvel to get the rights to the name Spider-Woman so that DC wouldn't create a character by that name.
but yea, her arch enemy was Morgan Le Fey and Jessica had NOTHING to do with Spider-man, so I hate how they are trying to make her part of his supporting cast. She is much better as a member of Captain Marvels supporting cast, or Black Widow and Hawkeye, like she has been over the years

I've been reading this. It's pretty good so far (although some of the tie-ins aren't so good).

And btw, they said in the letter column that there were about 8 Spider-men they couldn't use because of rights issues. I assume that includes the movie versions.

Not sure how they would even differentiate him but it would be awesome to see the Spectacular Spider-Man version show up

@Wetboy40 Well then they shouldn't advertise it as "Every spider-man Ever" and hell, marvel has made comics of those versions before, i don't see why they couldn't use them, it would only do better things for sony if sony let them use it.

Has Spidey from the 90's Animated Series shown up yet? Seeing him find his MJ would be worth it after almost 20 years of that horrible cliffhanger.

@Sadiki

That "Spider-Man 2099" version has the same art style as Spectacular. Maybe that is the "Spectacular Universe" but since they can't reference past events from Spectacular, they went with Miguel O'Hara in the future.
