COMICS: SUPERMAN Gets A New Costume In "The New 52"; Does The Red Underwear Return?

Superman's redesign for "The New 52" reboot was controversial with some fans, especially as the Man of Steel lost his red trunks and gained a higher v-neck collar. Well, John Romita Jr.'s Superman #38 cover has revealed his latest costume, and there are once again some big alterations!

No, the red underwear still hasn't returned! However, the streamlined suit (the various folds have gone for the most part) has changed Superman's collar by getting rid of the V, while also adding figerless gloves and a redesigned belt and boots. This new look will debut in Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr.'s Superman #38.
