they're just capitalising on the fact that Heath Ledger's Joker had longer hair than the comic book Joker. I mean, tell me with the waistcoat, knife, hair and the style of make-up they gave Batman's mum up there, that you see no resemblance to Heath Ledger's Joker.

@Anthrax -Yes it is!!! But only until September, when things go back to normal. Well, except for a few things. Like no red underoos on Supes ever again! The red underoos will be wiped from existance forevermore! You decide what's more normal; Martha Wayne is the Joker or Superman has no red underpants over his tights.

Spider1489 its an alternate universe caused by the reverse flash, the whole batman story is really strange, actually the whole universe is 7 levels of wtf

Flashpoint is about the DC universe being altered by the fact that the "Flash" never existed. Bruce Wayne died instead of his parents and Thomas Wayne became Batman while Martha Wayne became the Joker. Lots of other similar twists with other characters in the DCU. Most of these things will be reset after Flashpoint but not everything will be. You can bet that this will be though.

@RexDartEskimoSpy: If you don't like elseworld stories then why bother coming on here and commenting? Some people do like elseworld stories. The title clearly said Flashpoint. Even if you came from a link on google, you should have still known this was for Flashpoint.

@GraphicCity: Things are messed up because Professor Zoom changed history. Not just Flash doesn't exist.

@Spider1489: Professor Zoom changed the DC universe's history. The Batman universe has been affected in the following ways: Gotham is now a gambeling city similar to Las Vegas or Atlantic City, Bruce was killed in the alley way as a kid by Joe Chill instead of his parents, Thomas Wayne became Batman, Martha became the Joker, Oswald Cobblebot does not become The Penguin and instead is an ally to Batman, Batman kills his villains (which is why his ex-wife is his arch nemesis since it's difficult for him to kill her), Harvey Dent is a judge, and Dick Grayson is still a member of Haley's Cicus. Don't worry most things in the Flashpoint universe won't stay the same (except for the integration of Vertigo and Wildstorm characters into the DC Universe). Aquaman and Wonder Woman are both evil dictators (of Atlantis and Themyscira), yet there going to be heroes again in the new DC universe. Besides, if you have seen the cover for Detective Comics in September you would know that Joker is not going to be Martha.

ive bee quit surprised how good all the flashpoint comics have been. thomas is a badass batman. he doesnt take shit from anyone. much better than bruce

This is such a groundbreaking story!!! Perhaps it will pave the way someday for a future Spidey story where we will see Aunt May become the Green Goblin!!!!
