@TheGDSuperguy Yeah, skip Batman and Robin. It was terrible. Batgirl's good though, haven't read Batwoman yet.

Batman and Robin was my second favorite Bat book. It set up Bruce and his sons relationship very well and was a fun read. If you like Damian Wayne as Robin then youll love B&R.

im a huge batfan but i didnt like Batman & Robin, Batgirl on the other hand was a good read! looking foward to #2 !

taking batgirl out of the wheelchair was a mistake. the disabled had a hero to look up.

Batgirl is one of the best books out there, and the art is really nice, that and Detective comics were really good, I dident like batman and Robin, I hated Damien, annoying little brat I wanted to slap him. and I hated Batwoman.

Today I went on a shopping spree, picked up Superman, Firestorm, Hawkman, Batman dark knight, Aquaman, GL new gaurdians, Flash (both covers), Nightwing, Batman, and JL dark, oh and I stuck in Cap 2 and 3.

Oh yea baby its gonna be a busy day or two, hope some of them are good.

But yea Batgirl is a great book.

I have disabled friends who counted Barbra Gordon as the first hero who reflected their experience. Taking that away is crass stupidity. But if Bruce Wayne - post Bane - can suddenly have his back repaired my magic... (LAZY writing) then I suppose Batgirl can also return. It's just a milestone in respect for the disabled dissolved. But on a lighter note - I really LOVE the artwork. Great anatomy, clean inking lines, strong layouts and interesting color.

batman was in a wheelchair for at most a year, barbra was in a wheelchair longer than she was in a costume so it isn't really the same thing.

un-crippling barbara has been gaile simones wet dream for years, and her dream finally came true. as much as i love gaile simone as a writer (she is one of my absolute favorites, man or woman) i never at all agreed with her reasons for being against barbara being turned quadro. put this way: i have nothing against de-crippling barbara if it makes sense story wise and is done intelligently, just like any other big comic book change. id be all for it in that case. this was done simply because barbara's crippling offended gaile's feminine sensibilities. that sounds horrible to some people, but it's the truth and there's no changing that.

@TheGODDAMNSUPERGUY- I thought Batman and robin was pretty good. The differences between Damien methods of fighting crime and Bruce's, kept me glued to the issue. Anyways, can't wait to read the second issue of Batgirl.The way the issue ended with Batgirl freezing up was hard to look at.

DC has too many families why cant characters stand alone with individual identities

Being able to walk again 'a miracle'? So they aren't even going to touch on the efforts of physical rehabilitation? That's a offensive, lazy and stupid. I MIGHT have gone along with this if Simone had enough depth to do that.
