Hopefully Ray Palmer will end up as a scientist at Star Labs on Flash or Arrow because he is part of the Arrowverse. Anyway, I like the new design.

There was a similar episode in 'Batman: The Brave and the Bold', with Palmer and Aquaman journeying through Batman's body. ^^

I thought the first story arc of this book was a really good start, but the whole Toymaster thing was ridiculous even for a comic book, the cross over with Worlds' Finest wasn't too bad, but then this next story seems to go back to the silliness. Because I buy too many comic books as-is, I decided some time ago to enact a 3-story-arc rule for series; if 2 out of 3 story arcs (at any point in the life of the book) are below enjoyable, I cancel the book. Unfortunately, it looks like Batman Superman is about to join the list of cancellations.

So, New 52 Ray stole Ant Man's helmet design?

Though, I did just notice Jeff Lemire is on writing-duties for this story, and as he's just completely top-notch, I'll buy this. <3 Essex County, Sweet Tooth, Trillium, and his run on Animal Man!

Actually the mask kind of looks more like one of the Gundam Wing space helmets with different proportions to me.

Way to go DC. Yet another 52 redesign that is both unoriginal and lame.

Not bad, but this kind of shrinking outrageous crap really bugs me. It what bugs me about Marvel's Ant-Man and it's what bugs me about The Atom. It's so...CORNY.

Atom inside Batman's brain?

Been there, done that.

And Palmer's swiping Ant-Man's helmet?

Is there anything really NEW with this "New 52?"

Also, this is like the 4th reference to Fantastic Voyage I've heard in a week. Coincidence? Prob.

I dont like Palmer's costume. The helmet is too much like Ant Man's, although it does have a realistic touch to it since, you probably want to shrink your air supply when you get that small.

I guess DCMultiverse prefers his DC heroes to all look the same. Tall, white, chiseled jaws, perfect physiques and ridiculously campy outfits.

Sorry this guy doesn't fit your DC mold.

GetsugaTensho22 Ant-Man and Atom having the power to shrink yet maintain their strength is arguably one the practical powers in comic books. There is not one covert operative alive that wouldn't love to be able to shrink down to infiltrate a secure building. Meanwhile, we have a bunch of aliens fighting wars over which color ring is best and people think Atom and Ant-Man are cheesy.
