Picking this up, can't wait. Rorschach might be the only character I liked a lot in Watchmen.

Hopefully it won't be utter wank like the rest of the "Before" series.

When I read Rorshachs dialogue, I keep hearing Jackie Early Haileys voice from the movie

Rorschach, man. Just one of my favorite (or only favorite) Watchmen member and DC character. He's bad@$$ all over. :)

Stay EPIC, my friends!

@ibravosp5 - Same here, dude. That man was born to play as Rorschach. He nailed that performance. :)

...I don't know. That doesn't really sound like stuff Rorschach would say. And this is coming from somebody who's read the original novel 15+ times, and regards it as the best comic book ever made, and my personal favorite novel.

I've enjoyed these prequels so far (for the most part), and I love Azzarelo's stuff, (100 Bullets is awesome) but I'm still iffy on his portrayal of the character. Rorschach doesn't say bitch. Sorry.

this is a dumb complaint i know, but Rorschach cursing is weird....like throughout the whole Watchmen series, i don't recall him cursing. just seems kinda out of character that he'd say "wheres the shit at?"

@ibravo, makes sense, since Jackie used the voice he heard in his head when reading the book

Like I said, Rorschach doesn't curse. He doesn't do it once in the book.

Also, I imagine this is after the little girl's kidnapping? Or else it doesn't make sense for him to be using fractured sentences and have the askewed speech bubbles.

I don't like the idea of Rorschach cursing, either. It seems very out of character. He doesn't need to curse to sound intimidating.

one curse word isn't ruining this for me. Artwork, and writing so far look great. And i honestly love the Nite Owl and Minutemen comics.

i'll agree with everyone else who isn't feeling the rorshach cursing. it's out of place and completely unnecessary.

i was excited about this duo doing rorshach after the joker GN. but now i'm wondering if they are just going for the violent shocking stuff. which is only a piece of what rorshach is.

Now that you guys are mentioning it, yeah, it's pretty....strange for Rorschach to use such vulgarity. I mean, I haven't read any of the Watchmen comics, but Rorschach swearing.....isn't his character. I don't know. :/

Not feeling the dialogue either, doesn't have Rorschach's tone no matter how much I want it too. Been really looking forward to this and Manhattan too.

It looks like they saved the best for last, since Rorshach is the best character out of Watchmen. Can't wait for this.
