Dark skinned villains seem to be very trendy nowadays, I guess... And why not do it? Featuring minorities in key positions in every story arc should have been the norm a long time ago. It just was not allowed.

Plus the push to make dark skin heroes or key figures a common thing across the comic universe (IE Spidey's Morales or Avengers' Fury) seems to be a positive way to take the new comic book generation's stand on race.

I think in the future, across all superhero platforms, you're gonna have a major figure if not the hero or the nemesis, as a minority.
I seriously can't wait for batman's first major black foe.

meh, the flash is hard to explain to people. hes not superman, but hes faster? i know hes got the invisible aura thing that protects his muscles from friction and basically cancels out air friction, but what about impact? whats the difference between him getting punched in the face and his feet hitting the floor? If he is indeed human flesh and blood and can be bruised or bloodied, he'd pulverize his bones from his feet pounding the ground. If thats not the case and he wouldnt break his bones from hitting the ground, that must mean he cant break anything else and is just as durable as superman, which would mean he would never have to dodge bullets in the first place. He would just be superman without the kryptonite. This might be why DC with their "realistic" heores might be stuck trying to make a movie cause his powers and mortality contradict eachother.

daredevil is a little tough to swallow too, he can hear like EVERYTHING and his ears are sensitive to loud noises, but guns go off 2 inches from his head and he's like "meh." The answer to the problem is to say, oh he can filter out noises. If he can filter out a shotgun going off in his face which can burst an eardrum, why cant he filter out church bells or squeaky railroad tracks?

Don't care anymore DC killed themselves trying to be Image from the 90's. Piss poor storylines, lame characters, and wannabe EXTREME costume designs. YAWN!!!
