The art looks like something from a children's book.

idk how it looks like art from a children's book.

I really like the suit, they should make it look something like that in the (hopefully) reboot.

In that shot Batmans face and eyes would get a nice taste of cuts and glass particles. Glass particles would be embedded in various parts of that suit and cape. He'd sit in the Batmobile and cut it up and leave glass everywhere.

His gloves would have glass in them too. So he gets that stuff everywhere. Later, when no ones looking Batman stops to take a piss in an alley or even on a rooftop. (Thats right, Batman has to piss in alleys and on rooftops.)

But anyway, some glass gets on Batman's ween. Then he gets back to the cave. His ween hurts. Hes gotta take a high pressure shower to get the glass off his ween and blast the hell out of the suit. And the Batmobile is covered in glass and the leather is ruined.
Batman's ween and nutsack burn but he disinfects them and goes to bed. "No jacking off for awhile" he thinks.

Days later hes walking barefoot in the cave and steps on some of the damn glass that fell of his suit after he got out of the batmobile.
He realizes hes a dumbass to smash through windows. And starts shooting the windows out before entering a building or maybe he tries the door.

in a lot of ways, what Snyder did for Mr. Freeze made him an even more tragic character

first off Snyder Ruined Mr.Freeze. Second I'm not excited about Batman Annual #2 because all of Scott Snyders big story archs have really shitty endings. THe Court of Owls story arch ended with that really forced "twist" of Bruce now having a brother. and Death of the Family ended with that forced secret that it made no sense for Batman to have. Are we to believe Batman would be so irresponsible as to take in all these kid sidekicks and to not tell them this.

@jimdotbeep

I kinda disagree with you on all your points. Mister Freeze was indeed tragic in Heart of Ice but after that i stopped feeling sorry for him because he did such terrible things and he was just using his tragedy as an excuse to do what ever the [frick] he wants.

I wasn't to crazy about Bruce having a brother but I think he did it in a way where there are clues that say he is but close that also say he isn't his brother. At least its done better than Thomas Wayne Jrs. first appearance where he really was Batman's brother and it was cannon until Crisis on Infinite Earths wiped it away.

To be fair Batman had a lot of reasons for why it was impossible for Joker to be in the cave and he listed all of them to the side kicks, its in character with what he did before. Hes a creature of habit in the way that when he makes his mind up about something, it takes a LOT to make him think other wise. Hes a rock and Snyder also showed that in Court of Owls.

It was obvious the Court existed but up until the Labyrinth he refused to believe it because he investigated it as a kid and once he made his mind up about them not existing it took him nearly getting himself and his entire team killed to finally realize the Court exists and he isn't the de facto master of Gotham he made himself out to be.

@ beto, LOL you're right!

I like the covers more than the artwork to be honest.

I always thought bat knee pads were dumb but nothing pisses me off like when they put bat logos on the soles of hi shoes or when the tire treads have bats on them.

Like Bruce Wayne really says "then we'll have bats here and here".

All you need is the chest logo and his silhouette that's it

Black cape and cowl, grey suit. Thats it. Thats all thats needed. I hate the "armor" look everyone uses since the Nolan films.

Black cape and cowl, grey suit?would be ok,but in real life, that would be look stupid and not menacing.the best suit I have ever seen is from the batman returns and the batman begins.just add a batcowl from the tdk/tdkr,we got a perfect batsuit ever.trust me.
