COMICS: Will We See A Split In The JUSTICE LEAGUE In 2013?

Have a look at the final page and 2013 teaser panels from Justice League #12, which give us an idea of what to expect from The League in the future. Obviously if you want to wait and pick up the issue yourself, SPOILERS ahead..

The following takes place after that well documented kiss between Superman and Wonder Woman..

I think that's pretty self explanatory. There are some dark times ahead for the Justice League - and part of that will involve Supes and Bats going toe to toe. What do you make of this?

oh boy superman vs batman, can't wait for the batman fanboys to get pissed when supes kicked his ass (don't try using that bullshit Batman is always prepared argument)

Batman is usually prepared for a battle. As badly as Superman could destroy him, all Bats has to do is pull out some Kryptonite and he wins.

The will get back together when Plasticman says they can get back together. He is the glue that binds them together. None of you know it, but its true.

Batman stands no chance but popularity and fanboys might say other wise.

@PaulRom

And Superman can just burn him down from 100 miles away with his heat vision.

Not to mention Superman comes from a MUCH more advanced civilization, so he should have to be much smarter too.

The only chance of Batman winning it's if the story is written by a Batman fanboy.

I am a die-hard Batfan, so when I say Yes, Batman would win in a fight, it will sound bias. I am also realistic. Batman would only win if he knew the fight was coming. For him not to see it coming, some supervillian would have to show up outta nowhere, shove some red Krypto in Supes mouth and then boom tube him right into the batcave in front of bats and then supes hit him, then yeah, Supes would win. Buts thats not likely to happen. With Bats resources, detective skills, and brinkmanship, hes usually about 3 or 4 steps ahead of everyone....just my two cents...

Boy... Geoff Johns always impresses with his originality. ;p

I love the Justice League... but with Johns at the helm, I really do not care.

that last David Finch panel, reminds me of Civil War

and seriously DC do we need a civil war, wasn't one from Marvel enough

and hmm cant wait for the Captain Marvel and Superman fight, and the invasion of Atlantis seems interesting

Not sure if its been done, but suppose GL and Supes were on opposite sides...so bats goes with GL to OA. They create a Krypo-infused GL ring...oooooo....

@HRDWYR I think Green Lantern rings can emit krytonite radiation

When it comes to a battle between supes and bats it all depends on who the writer wants to come out on top and for what reason, be it fanboy or story progression.

Supes has superior powers.

Batman IS always prepared, knows and has Supes weakness and has tactics.

It can go either way.

zoidberg- Superman is NOT more intelligent than Batman, advanced civilization or not. Besides he grew up on earth with the rest of us humans.

So it's not an original idea, what is these days? I'm still excited at the prospect of a DC "Civil War" type story, as long as it's done well.

NICE! The tease in the Free Comic Day issue should be re-examined with this announcement and the one about JLA.

I think the split in the pic. Signifies that maybe the whole team is gonna have varying opinions on the atlantis attack...

NOTICE THE 'EARTHLING' MEMBERS ON ONE SIDE AND THE ALIEN/ATLANTEAN/DEMIGODDESS ON THE OTHER HALF OF THE PHOTO.

As exciting as this is, I want to be able to pick a comic without heroes fighting each other.

@undeadnightmare- I know that technically Aquaman and WW are from Earth, but they are detached from society and their lifestyle.

I could easily see a conflict of interests arise from Atlantis' invasion and beyond.

I haven't been keeping up w a lot of the'new 52' but I think it would be wise to not just have Bats & supes goin at it, but to have a big rift in everybody's relationship.

I will NEVER EVER go see Dredd in the [frick]ing theaters because if I hear "This is Judge Dredd, I am the law" one more [frick]ING time I'm gunna go insane from the stupid ass ads CBM has agreed to put on this site. I am a faithful user, and visit this site multiple times a day and have hit PAUSE about a thousand times on these stupid ass videos as I'm trying to read and enjoy the articles. The damn video is playing TWICE on the same [frick]ING page!!! This is like reverse ad-campaigning to me, I don't wanna see that stupid ass frown on Karl Urban's face one more time. SO SO sick of it. Please do something.
