Warner Bros. Has NINE Other DC Adaptations In Development

After the slew of new information from the Warner Bros. camp that was released yesterday, the Wall Street Journal dropped another bit of info and stated that nine (eleven total currently) other DC Comics adaptations are in development. Hit the jump for more!

That is correct, Warner Bros. currently has eleven different DC Comics adaptations in development (two of which being Superman vs Batman and Justice League).  The statement says:
Warner has now entrusted its core superheroes to “Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder, who will helm “Superman vs. Batman” and then “Justice League.” It also has nine other movies based on DC comics in development.

Currently, we know only a handful of these eleven total films. Obviously Superman vs Batman and Justice League are the first two, but Shazam, Fables, Metal Men, Sandman, and 100 Bullets are in development as well. That leaves four other mysterious projects left, and at this point it's your guess is as good as anybody's! Currently, Warner Bros. have no plans for a solo Wonder Woman film (even though Gal Gadot is signed on for a solo Wonder Woman film), which makes guessing the final four films and even greater challenge. Could a long rumored Flash film finally be in development?  And are solo Superman film and Batman films apart of that plan? What about Justice League Dark? Could even an Aquaman film be apart of those four mystery films? Will the Ben Affleck and Matt Damon produced Sleepers adaption count towards those films? Only time will tell, and one can only hope much more will be revealed in the coming months. The Wall Street Journal also reconfirmed that the film and television universes will remain separate, and digital publishing has now become a major priority. What are your thoughts? What do you think are the mysterious films?

I want another Green Lantern movie. Reboot, sequel, Hal Jordan, not Hal Jordan. I don't care. I just want an epic movie revolving around the Green Lantern Corp.

I'm really hoping that Justice League Dark comes through and Del Toro legit does it and doesn't pass it off to someone else, because we all know that Doug Jones is going to be cast as Deadman.

@drdoom
from Gregg Silverman,pres. of prod. of WB via Wall Street Journal's Speakeasy

As for Gadot flying solo as Princess Diana in a Wonder Woman movie, Warner Bros. sadly have no plans for that, but are open to the possibilty. “That is our hope,” said the president of marketing Sue Kroll. “With the right script, that could be viable. The world is ready for her.” Anyhow, other DC Comics properties that are heading to the big-screen, though not connected to the developing Justice League universe, include Shazam, Metal Men, 100 Bullets, and Fables. What do you think?
