With Stan "The Man" Lee set to appear at a UK convention for the first time in nearly 40 years, I've been scouring eBay for a worthy comic book to get signed by the legendary creator. I have a few decent ones here I could take, but no REAL classics. Then I came across an 8.5 CGC graded copy of
The Amazing Spider-Man #9 - the first appearance of my second favourite Spidey villain, Electro. How much? A whopping £1,250 (which is just under $2,000)! Now, I love comic books, and I REALLY love Spider-Man, but I just couldn't bring myself to spend such a crazy amount despite the fanboy inside of me pretty much begging for it.
