Invincible is absolutely the best ongoing monthly super hero comic out there, easy. But if you've never read it, start at the beginning. There's way too much back story to gloss over. A whole lot of shit happened in those 105 issues. I heartily recommend the oversized hardcover collections. They give you the most Invincible for your money.
