The creation of Image Comics 25 years ago has had a huge effect on the entertainment industry. This is evident in the phenomenon that is The Walking Dead. Image now attracts high profile creators like Rick Remender, Brian K. Vaughan, Jonathan Hickman and many others. As a result, they are bringing in new readers looking for great stories that aren't part of the big two of Marvel and DC. 

This multi-part documentary from SyFy depicts the company's founding in 1992 and details the ups and downs Image has faced over years. The original founders like Todd McFarlane and Jim Lee offer candid insights on their experiences.

@BR74 - Opena is phenomenal!! He sat out one or two issues but his replacement was pretty good. What issue are you on?? #10 doesn’t come out til next year because Remender wanted to make sure Opena had plenty of time to do each issue

@BR74 - it gets really good, the world building and tone is amazing. I’m not the biggest fantasy reader either but this book got me hooked so fast. Keep reading, it gets even better

In a sane world, Marvel would have had the rights to X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Spider-Man from the beginning, and Fox would be cashing in with R-rated adaptations of Image movies.

They're a much better fit for Fox's wheelhouse.

@Spock0Clock - I still believe making a well made X-Men series and then doing Avengers vs X-Men is the real 2 billion breaker.
