For Round One of Marvel vs DC Ultimate Character Battle I have selected a handful of fighters to take part in this deadly tournament battle to the bitter end or at least to a bloody pulp! The following battles will all take place on the crowded streets of Gotham City on a quiet Tuesday evening. They are not limited to using the full capacity of their own power.

Most of these matchups just suck. No offense but there are really, really onesided matches. I mean Hulk vs Bane? Now Deathstroke has taken the Flash, but The punisher is no deathstroke, so Flash can Infinite mass punch his face off. Magneto vs Freeze? Most of Freeze's suit is metal so um yeah. I love cyke, but Supes heat vision could stand up to Cyke's blasts not to mention everything else he can do.
There are a few gems in here,
Thor vs Sinestro and Doom vs brainiac would be sweet.

If you were setting this up similar to a NCAA tournament with a 1 versus a 16, then I could see something like this would sorta make sense, so not sure that is what you had in mind.

question. are the fights between the comic versions of the characters or the movie versions of the characters. because in the case of Batman and Bane, if it were comic version they'd put up a fight and in the case of Batman maybe even win. but film version Bane and Batman were pussies and get beat down quick.

I am not limiting it based on either the live action or comic version, the votes are based on how you think it would be portrayed in that exact scenario. That way we have many different outcomes and numbers coming from everyone. I am trying to bring a whole new experience in the voting game.

Because fights like Iron Man vs Steel are generic as wall plaster. It's been done and said to death already so many times. I am mixing in something entirely new.

Plus I use some of the worst live action pictures just for comic relief.

The tournament is going to be 12 rounds starting off now with individual matches. The next rounds after the 12 are mixing in all the winners in a final round bout.
