With a movie on the way, it shouldn't exactly come as a surprise that Marvel are planning yet another relaunch to coincide with a big screen adaptation.
Captain America,
Iron Man and
THOR all resulted in the debut of #1 comic books, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes are next according to a recent report.
Bleeding Cool has been told that around that time we may expect to see a new Avengers #1, by Brian Michael Bendis and Mark Bagley, the creative team that brought us Ultimate Spider-Man and their new creator owned series, Brilliant!

The Amazing Spider-Man will have a similar effect on the wall crawling superheroes comic book? I have to say, I'm not a fan of this idea that every time a new movie hits, we need a new #1 issue. I can appreciate that Marvel are trying to attract new readers, but at least including the original numbering somewhere on these comics would be nice for longtime readers/collectors I think.
