Art is very fitting for this title! But is Stark seriously a legit Guardian now? The [frick]?!

And why have they gone the Jeph Loeb route with Groot? At the end of Planet Hulk, Hulk was [frick]ing mental. Smart as hell and very cool; Intelligent. Then Jeph Loeb came in and we were back at "Hulk smash tiny robot man. Hulk wanna be alone!" Groot was/is a damn celestial God of sorts. In Annihilation he's always rambling on about how he needs sustenance and how he's a God and they shouldn't be threatening him. Now he's all, "I am Groot." Fml.... Hope Gunn didn't go that route.

Those are the only words he says but he's still a super smart scientist and speaks with inflection not through words. Rocket is actually the only one who can understand him. He's most definitely smart and btw Yes Groot in the movie will only say "I am Groot"

I wouldnt say Stark is an official guardian. He just went into space and ran into them and now theres some storyline where he has to be in space so hes hangin with them at the mo

I have no problem with Stark being a member of the crew. Also the illustrations are amazing. The snappy dialogue with RR is sweet.

Neil Gaiman sued Todd McFarlane and was awarded the rights of Angela. He then took Angela and took her to Marvel hence why she is now in the pages of Marvel and an official Marvel character now. You will not be seeing Sam and Max or Spawn in Marvel unless some kind of inter comic cross over.

I expect Stark won't be with the Guardians much longer, as their Infinity tie-in is coming up, and Stark is already back earth-side in the other Infinity books.

I gave up trying to figure out the chronology of Stark's space adventures some time ago, but perhaps some fan with too much time on their hands has it diagrammed out.

Funny that THE AVENGERS comic got around Stark being in deep space by having his earthly incarnation be (for a time) a remote-controlled suit.

@Doom, sometimes sex IS pointless unless you're a diehard romantic or an old fashioned woman. Most ppl refer to it as "casual sex" or "hooking up." Stark is a genius, playboy, philanthropist - it's kinda his thing, no? Yeah... I'd be more surprised if he didn't sleep with Angela.

Can´t believe we are getting the Marvel NOW! comics here in Mexico practically at the same time than in the US!

A different thing is with DC´s New 52 issues, they are being publushed like 6 numbers behind..

GOTG is quite an interesting bunch of fellows, and the stories are good ,this one is OK - nothing special .
I prefer the original old school GOTG stories.
I still don't believe it - no body has ever spoken about the STARK race - on any comic-book forum ?

am i the only dude who knows about The Stark vs guardians and the link to Tony ?

guys read up on the stark race - (wasted opportunity would have been a perfect tie in to avengers universe)

The old GOTG comics are better.

I read an old iron man war machine comic and found the most interesting link to GUARDIANS timeline.

In this story TONY is in meltdown because he is dying from blood poisoning due to Arc reactor(think iron man 2 movie)and is about to give up all hope when he gets ZAPPED transported 3000 years into the future, to another dimension by an alien Race.

due to his ill health, he collapse's.

the aliens call them self (THE STARK) ....they nurse him back to health and tell Tony HE IS THEIR KING !!!, they love Tony stark and he is the saver of their world ....please can he help them ?

he thinks its bullshit but then he listens to their story , apparently they are 3000 years into the future.

they where once mindless aliens / cavemen barbarians and Tony sent some Stark Tech (space armour/ J.A.R.V.I.S) into space in 2000 after earth was attacked (just like avengers movie) just in-case anything like that happens again.

the Tech crashes on the alien planet, the aliens find the Tech /Jarvis( Gemini armour?).....and they then built up their entire civilisation and become smart ,warriors, thinkers......because of his Tech J.A.R.V.I.S.

They ask him to help them out because he is their GOD and he can bring world peace because some of them are getting greedy, depleting all the earth's resources, and becoming industrialists and starting wars.

he tries to help them but then the bad guys bust in and he is sent back into his own time ....2000's (because if he dies in that time line then they wont exist at all.

just like LOOPERS !!!!!) - the stark Race are one GOTG biggest enemies . (this could have been a fantastic movie & tied the time lines together)
