Great book so far. Now if they can get Star-Lord to go back to looking like this:

I think they will sometime when the movie comes out.

SARA PICHELLI is one of the best artists marvel have at the moment.

Guys, this is the concept art for the movie. So more than likely, it won't be the new costumes in the movie.

I love the new costumes, they look like something straight out of Mass Effect. I don't think I'd ever be able to read anything with the old outfits, Bendis and Co. are killing it with this book.

1. Why is Iron Man there?
2. Who the [frick] is Angela, and why should I care?

@Battabing Angela is an awesome character from the Spawn series. She is an Angel and they are crossing her over into GotG.

Angela is hot, Gamorra is hot too. Hell even Rocket Racoon is hot lol :p but I don't like Star-lord new haircut, did he have blond hair before ? I don't remember that.

I could do with Star Lord in the comics having a retractable mask like the movie concepts but are you guys as dumb as you come off. What intergalactic peace keeping brigade would be dressed in the OG costumes in this day and age. You people have to quit being so stubborn and stuck in your ways. Comic book suits and designs have to keep up with the times to keep old readers interested and to attract new ones. As long as the characters essence and personality are the same. I like the look of the new suits but I do kind of wish star lord had an updated mask that resembles his older one.

Marvel is seriously rewarding Sara Pichelli with higher profile work, from her work on Ultimate Spidey. Her Angela looks much better and stronger than Quesada's.

1. What the heck is that rope/banner thing floating around Angela?

2. Why is Angela making her debut in the Marvel Cosmic universe? I thought she was created as more of a mystical character... heaven and hell and that sort of thing in the Spawn universe?

Terrible look. Dont know anything about Angela so no feelings. I just know Bendis blows.

"Heavens most fearsome Angel". So MARVEL is staying with her Angel background...hmmm, interesting

@Intruder....yes this book is already bananas. Even the 0.1 iss was very good imo.

jesus it's only been discussed on here 1289089 times. Gaiman has the rights to Angela, he rejoined Marvel and is bringing Angela into the MCU. btw GOTG is [frick]ing crazy, and so is the New Nova. and i'm a fan of Richard Ryder.

@likeaphoenix almost all the deity type characters in marvel have huge ties to the cosmic aspect of marvel.

The only thing i hate is that they changed star lords hair color. Why?

Does anyone even care that gaiman is helping to write this issue. Anyone who has read through the entire sandman series does.

I was thinking a film based on a failed comic like GOTG was DOA but considering the success of the terrible IM 3 Marvel could literally just film actual shit and make a billion.

Star-Lord still needs the helmet and Gamora needs her sexy back (like how it's still like that in Nova), but other than that we're good!
