Is this part of Marvel NOW, or some other 'What if?' Limited Series?

Citizen Kane with super heroes is not nessicarily a bad thing.

@Deadpool17 not necessarily, but it does seem to be tip-toeing toward 'rip-off' territory... I mean not only have they got a reporter tracking down the loved ones of a dead man so that he can write a story on his life, but the actual use of the man's mysterious, seemingly nonsensical last word ("Rosebud" in Citizen Kane, "Mapone" here) as the catalyst for it all.

I guess it avoids being labelled a rip-off though, because they actually reference Citizen Kane in the comic - apparently at some point Urich jokes about the similarities between his assignment and the plot of the movie.

Only way to find out whether it's a rip off or not is to wait until the end and see how it plays out. Maybe it's just the initial driving force of the two plots which is the same.

Its killing me to trade wait on this. But it'll look sooo nice on my shelf in hardcover and be a treat to blast through all at once.

I hope Elektra's not dead again. That's [frick]ing annoying. It's a cop out! -_-
