I never thought I would see them do something worse to Doc Ock than that crappy female Doc Ock they had back in the '90s. Looks like I've been proven wrong- though this does look like something stupid enough to have been done in the '90s. LAME!

On a more positive note, I do really like the "Amazing Daredevil" cover. Cool stuff! The interior art is also good. Nice storytelling style on the last page as the bus flips out of control.

I like it. it makes sense, and it kinda reminds me of Spiderman: Reign even though those were just his arms.

Looks cool, I'm fine with change if done right.

As for DD, I'm so relieved he's back to his former Greatness!

Look horrible, basically looks like what hollywood would do if they were trying to kill a franchise.

This abomination looks like they been watching too many predators movies. Enough already with the pointless changes. If you don't like drawing classic Dr.Octopus then don't change it, quit.! Because if that goes near hollywood it will destroy the spiderman movies for a long time.

There is actually writing and purpose behind this change. Literary evolution in comics is a necessity. If not, we just keep getting Reboots....which do you prefer?

I wonder if he'll go after Sonic the Hedgehog when he's done with Spidey? Cos that looks like Dr Robotnik flew his hover chair into a meat grinder!

Not necessarily a bad thing, but the similarities are pretty funny.

Spider-man was murdered by Mephisto and Joe Quesada....

This is totally trash, how many times are they gonna kill Dr. Ock and then bring him back with another "look" one uglier than the previous ???

The base underwater is sooooooo 60's !!!
reminds me of the saga, "The Master Planner"

how UN-original.....

Is there any mainstream superhero book at Marvel worth reading right now? Honestly.

Yawn. When did Todd McFarlane start back on Spider-Man?

Mainstream....no...but DD is awesome

While I don't agree with PoP, he has a valid argument. Don't bring him back at all....That's real change!

Anyone not reading Daredevil right now is doing themselves a disservice. As much as I loved all of the really dark stuff that's happenned to DD over the last 14 years, starting with Kevin Smith's run, it's refreshing to see Mark Waid take him back to his more freewheeling, swashbuckling days, and the artwork by Paolo Rivera and Marcos Martin is clean and simple, but a perfect compliment to Waid's writing.

@marvel72- You're going to love this book, dude. :)
