Well that sucks. I understand that this is fantasy, but they should still fix these little issues.

I've never understood the hoodie! I would of always thought he would need a suit to contain his powers, something like what they did in the Spectacular Spider-Man animated series..

Gee, I wonder why Electro looks like this. I guess there could be a number of reasons for this.

Pete sort of looks like Garfield. Just look at the length of his neck!

Not digging hooded Electro. His costume is very Quicksilver-ish.

Electro huh? Considering he's in a Punisher comic right now, he's lucky to be alive.

Marvel relies too much on their movies nowadays when it comes to comics.

@Sunfire
WRONG...Romita Jr. draws a great Spidey.
Your in the minority & Marvel will continue to give JRJr Spidey stories to draw,oh yea!
Hope this book creates quality stories.

Lol at 1st I thought this was the tie-in comic to the film. Spidey does look like Garfield, the neck and the pompadour like hairstyle.

I wish Electro still looked like this

or even this

instead of this.

Stop pulling looks from the awful Garfield films... If the look of Electro isn't broken, then don't friggin fix it!

So Ock was never really gone huh... Well, that's a shocker (pun intended).
Why does Ramos make Pete so effing skinny!? C'mon!
FusionForce
FusionForce - 4/25/2014, 6:34 PM
Ramos' art looks really good for once, I can follow the story easier and the panels aren't cluttered as [frick].

@ Starkasm

On the left, he still has the costume. On the right, he has the same blue glow as he does in TASM. Seems like Electro's on a slippery slope. Just watch... Soon, he will be all blue just like Dr. Manhattan and Mr. Freeze in 616.
ThrotTheUnclean
ThrotTheUnclean - 4/25/2014, 7:33 PM
If this title is in 616 (which I pray it is not) then [frick]! God damn I hate these [frick]ing comic book movies! Is it not enough that they constantly shit all over the source material in their movies, do they have to [frick] with the comics? I am all for changing things up for a little bit but jesus.
MightyZeus
MightyZeus - 4/25/2014, 7:42 PM
Electro's back-story and origin in the comics is still far better than the film's version.

It's like the writers of the film did not even give a crap about Electro. The writer's where like "well, let's make him like incrediboy from The Incredibles and The Riddler from Batman Forever".
FrankBerzerk
FrankBerzerk - 4/25/2014, 8:37 PM
what the hell? now all of you are complaining the spidey and electro look like the actors in the movie?
do you even read spidey comic ? Ramos has always draw peter like that since forever, end electro look just like that since the arc "end of earth" it's like 3 years already, even ahead of the release of the amazing spiderman movie 1 year.
and dont even complain why spidey look like andrew in other spidey tittles, because ANDREW LOOK JUST LIKE PETER SINCE MID 2000,
Dang it! Andrew just look exactly like what peter look like in Steve Mcniven Run

PeterGreyson
PeterGreyson - 4/25/2014, 10:49 PM
This is honestly embarrassing.

I mean the comments, not the art.

When the movies pay homage to the comics everyone loves it, but literally one quick scene of a comic paying homage to a movie that is coming out, and everyone has this attitude problem and hates it?

So electro should just wear the green and yellow rubber suit around even when he is obviously trying to stay hidden?

Not to mention everyone loves this stuff when batman or someone does it. Grow up everyone.

MJ's looking as great as ever, and nothing like that tramp Kirsten Dunst at least.

Now Electro's looking more like Marc Webb's version. Just effin' great.
