Contact ThrotTheUnclean I truly hate the Ultimate universe. I honestly don't think it counts as source material. It is the worst fucking garbage Marvel has ever put out. It is where they stick all of the new writers/artists and dumb ideas, because they don't want to ruin the 616.

So, any part of a Marvel movie that takes inspiration from it is shit and I don't consider it to be following source material. This includes MCU films, which draw heavily from the Ultimate universe.

I am not saying films that have Ultimate inspired things are automatically terrible. I love plenty of Marvel films that have bits and pieces of the Ultimate universe in them. I would simply prefer Marvel films to only use the 616 universe as inspiration.

I know there are a lot of things in the 616 that are hard to translate to film, but I think if you don't want to put in the effort of translating it to film then you shouldn't be making the movie.
