Almost every sovereign state in the Marvel Universe makes use of sanctioned superhumans to protect national interests and pursue a covert agenda. The United States has the Secret Avengers. The United Kingdom has MI13. And mutantkind has X-FORCE. In this dirty, secret, no-holds-barred, deadly game of superhuman black ops, veteran X-Man Cable and his team will spy, torture, and kill to ensure that the mutant race not only has a place in the world…but also a stake in it.

the art looks stiff.

I feel like this is what you'd get if you threw Leinil Yu, Adi Granov, and Ariel Olivetti's work in a blender. Maybe it's just me.

I... I have no clue what to think... I feel it's trying to impress me with the art... But it's not.

I like it. Kind of reminds me of Clayton Crain from the pre-Second Coming X-Force team, but not as muddy.

And, yes, Cable is a boss. Bring him to the big screen soon please!

This looks really cool actually. Very different. Sadly since marvel keeps canceling all of my favorite titles I made a vow to not buy marvel comics anymore.

I want to know who that big red mutant is. The X-men (or X-Force) could use some new villains. Of course, Cable basically knocks his jaw off with that punch, so we may never see him again.

I would love to see your artwork...but my guess is you two have absolutely
zero artistic skills. You don't like the artwork..fine..but come up w/ a more intelligent critique than that.
Sometimes the posts that I read on this website makes me embarrassed to be
a fanboy.

dont care about the comic, but cant wait for the XForce film.

Would be awesome to see Cable, Domino, Deadpool and more together on the big screen for the first time... and hopefully a Xmen team up right after

I just hope Fox doesnt wait too much time

Marvel is really hiring some awkward artists to work on their books these days.

One is Psylocke, the other is, um, Marrow, maybe?

I like the description - that X-Force is the "mutant nation's" secret old team. Typical modern Cyclops bullshit. So much for Xavier's dream of peaceful integration.

As for the art, ugly ass pencils, nice colors.

I might buy it just for that.

Any news on the Xforce movie? It seems after the xmen apocalypse got announced, the Xforce just disappear

They have a script but no word on if they're going to start casting soon for a spring-summer shoot or push it off until after X-men: Apocalypse.

I hate that art, the concept is decent. But the art awful.

There's an aspect of the art that I love, and an aspect that I hate.

The aspect I love is the 3-d realistic look of it, it's very striking, almost like a Skyrim mod with ENB or something, or like the artist has used 3-d game engine models as models to draw from.

The aspect I hate is the cartoonish stylization. Such striking 3-d realism just does not go with the cartoonish stylization, IMHO.

It's the same thing with a lot of the 3-d cartoon films these days - the distortion and exaggeration that look so good with hand-drawn images just look weird and slightly disturbing when they're rendered as realistic-looking 3-d models.

Looks freakin amazing. This Cable and X Force run going on right now in my opinion has just been ok, hard to believe for a Cable book, being that Cable is awesome and ridiculously powerful or should be at least. Really excited about this book, looks great and Cable with the words "kill" , "Spy" , "Torture" and "Black Ops" all in the same book with Fantomex and hopefully Bishop, how could this get any better!!
Darkseid85
Darkseid85 - 1/2/2014, 8:39 PM
Someone explain to me in "detail" how this art is garbage? If this is your opinion then state that, i would say it's a safe bet to say that nobody in this forum can do any better or you should go to Marvel, prove your skill and show us something better, in my opinion this artwork is gorgeous and fits the book.
