The coloring seems very underwhelming specially for that first panel on the second page. Such an intense moment but the coloring is just not dramatic. It's all medium tones. Close to neutral-which is how I'm feeling about the art in this series.

The coloring was done purposefully to show the time they are in. It's not dramatic and close to neutral tones because that's what comics looked like at the time Wolverine went to kill Pym. Looks like a Wolverine from another timeline knocked Sue out so she couldn't interrupt and force Logan's hand, then is going to tell this Wolverine why he shouldn't kill him.

The coloring is supposed to reflect how comics looked in the 60's-70's. I applaud their effort. The art for this series looks top notch. Still not moved by this story. I'm curious how many people are actually enjoying it at this point and how many are still reading it because they feel like they've gotten too many issues to stop at this point. I freely admit I may get issue 10 to see what's up with Angela, but I won't support meaningless "events" anymore.

It would be nice if Ultron actually appeared in his own event.

I understand what their trying to do. But I don't think it's working for me. Maybe it's the different way black is being used. or all the neutral and gray backgrounds. I think the colors of those old comics were richer and more varied.

The Giant freak guy is Hank Pym, Giant man, who can change his size all he wants.

I like the costume, but I never really understood the purpose of Wolverine's mask... I mean most masks are for hiding a person's identity, other masks are to hide a person's disfigured face, Then there's masks that are meant to instill fear in someone... But, Wolverine meets none of these criteria... what exactly is the reason that he wears a mask anyway, especially when he fights while wearing it the same amount of time as not.

I like that Wolverine was "fish-hooking" him to set up the kill. Dirty pool but funny.

A Wolverine vs Wolverine debate, now THAT'S a drinking game. You do a shot every time they say "bub" and prepare to go to the emergency room.
