i hope age of ultron is as good as age of apocalypse,as for hawkeye being a bad ass not really a fan of the character but i'll admit his solo title is very good & marvel universe vs the avengers he does come across as one bad mother f*cker.

@Splenda

Cap's also not wearing his "New" costume either. Look at the boots. Maybe Hitch is misinformed?
DukeAcureds

Hitchy might've drawn this before all the new designs. That guy really takes his time on these things. Remember how long we had to wait between Ultimates issues?
The end result, though, as can be seen, is friggin phenomenal.

And Wolverine, in his final dying act, tries in vain to cop a feel off Spider-Boobs.

Regarding Spidey, Cap, etc: I believe Bendis said this takes place before the "Marvel Now" craziness, so Spoiler Alert: Ultron loses and none of our favorite heroes die!

Is Ultron actually gold-colored, or is that just the lighting? Cause gold really doesn't make sense. All the hardest metals on Earth - including adamantium are grey/silver. And it's kinda out of character for Ultron do give himself a pretty paintjob. Either way, he looks very bug-like here. A nod to Pym?

Man, Hitch is turning in some of that Ultimates level of work here. It looks great.

Also not a fan of Ultron's face though. Go bacj to a more classic version please.

Does anyone else get the feeling that this will be the first Marvel Crisis? I mean, it takes place before Marvel Now! and it looks like some kinda dystopic future where all the superheroes get killed, NYC is half in ruins and Ultron is a gold-plated pimp riding around with a chandelier on his bonnet.

This cover here is proof that Marvel does not properly plan. Not only is Spider-Man pre- Marvel Now!, but Iron Man is clearly wearing the Bleeding Edge suit here. They just colored it in the Marvel Now! color scheme. This should have been released, like it was supposed to be even though they'll deny it, before Marvel Now!. I can see why Bryan Hitch left them.

@KamenRiderJ22 a good book with ultron in it is annihilation:Conquest, i highly recommend it. it's also a great way to jump into the marvel cosmic universe too. ultron and dr.doom are my top 2 favourite villains so i wont steer you wrong.

@DTor91
Bleeding edge?
oh you mean the red one with the blue glowing chest light right?
thats not it
hes wearing his marvel now suit
Dont understand why hes the only one wearing his updated suit
hyped regardless

@Sora
That is Bleeding Edge. Compare it to this:
Look at the design and linework seen in both images. There's subtle differences here and there, but It's virtually the same design. The torso is especially a dead give away of that. Bleeding Edge is also the only armor in recent years to have an organic look. The Marvel Now! one looks more mechanical, more along the lines of what's seen in the movies. That can be seen here:
DTor91
DTor91 - 1/16/2013, 6:08 PM
They simply colored it with the black/gold color scheme. Other than that, that is the Bleeding Edge design up there.

@kamenRiderJ22 nova and that story is was got me into the cosmic part of marvel. it is a great read. it's got some big names too, besides Nova you got the GotG, adam warlock, quasar, and a whole bunch of other great characters so it's a great start into the marvel comsic universe.

if you want read annilation and then annilation:conquest for the full effect of the MCU
GhostKILLERgx7
GhostKILLERgx7 - 1/16/2013, 6:36 PM
only conquest has ultron in it. annihilation will give you a great respect for nova. man was a beast. be warned they are really big books.

R.I.P Rider :( oh god i miss him

For anybody who might be on the fence:

GO READ ANNIHILATION RIGHT [frick]!NG NOW.

It's easily the best stuff Marvel's done in the past decade. I've been a Marvel fanboy for a long, long time but never got into the cosmic stuff and Annihilation knocked my socks off. Conquest, Nova and GotG were pretty damn good, too.
