We need an actor to commit to a Punisher trilogy.

Punisher is a C-lister? Maybe in the movies, but not in the comics. Just because you don;t read it doesn't make it C-list

I Love how he's got the traditional outfit and not just a t-shirt and a trench coat. Sweet.

I second Gerard Butler for Punisher. I really thought Ray Stevenson was Awesome, but Tom Jane was definitely the "Butt-Punisher". We are running the risk of too many re-boots though. How many times can you re-boot before Hollywood decides it's just not do-able?

I'm so excited for this run of The Punisher back to the classic's it seems. And Marvel Studios could do a great job with it now that they have the rights back. Being a big fan I think a HBO or AMC type series would fly but it would have to be his true origins story Born/Year One then pure Punishment.

@Intruder you honestly think that one of DC's top selling series is less popular than the Punisher?

gay old 90s huh. Yeah i'm lookin at some old Jim Lee Punisher War Journals with team ups from Wolverine and it looks pretty damn cool. Venom came from the 90s. Deadpool.Tons of cool artists. slumping 10 years of comics into one category is misguided.

Sorry Punisher didn't have a ring given to him by aliens. But he did have guns, lots of em. Blackest night was cool, but before that GL was slightly less gay than Aquaman. (but don't worry Aquaman fans, you'll get your movie one day and it will be wicked cool)

Green Lantern is taken as seriously as space balls the movie. Outside of Blackest Night they haven't done anything with him for a long while. I believe Punisher is more well known and has a stronger following.
