That artwork is bananas. Definitely getting the tradebacks for this.

wow. I love that Dr Strange image.

And its way overdue that Black Bolt became a premier badass in the MU. I have a sneaky suspicion that they'll be looking for ways to get around the "no talking" thing, either with telpathy (via him and Medusa) or using that "silent zone" that Maximus made, perhaps reconfigured to be portable.

Either way, bring on Inhumans. more the merrier.

I love that New Avengers has effectively become a Namor/Strange/Panther/Inhumans book. I want books for all of them, but they just get cancelled. Its the best way to have regular doses of them every month.

Can't wait for there to be an Inhumans movie at marvel...hopefully phase 3.

@xcrementus agreed. I honestly wouldn't be to interested in picking up a monthly from them, except for panther. But having a heavy story that connects them all and touches upon their thrones is invigorating.

@ComicFan1134: I know, insane.
I guess the Wakandans beat the shit out of the Atlanteans, so much so that they haven't got a chance of fighting off Thanos' goons.

When all is said and done tho, somebody is gonna get a trident to the face!

If we had an A-list writer, and A-list artist, Namor/Strange/Panther could have a great book. As long as it feels like BIG things are happening in it, people will buy it.
If Aquaman can have a book that sells well, surely Namor can.
And the Hudlin Panther series lasted FOR AGES! And it was frickin Hudlin, who sucks!!! so damn much!!

Wow...I might actually have to pick this up. And finally the Space Armor for Iron Man is drawn like its cool. It needs the extra details but that looks great.

I love Hickmann cause he's really good and this series shows it. It's a big masterplan only few writers can think and take you all even with all these players. I knew Avengers was in good hands and now he's showin it.

The artwork looks great. This event will hopefully wash away the bad taste from AOU & AvX....and it should. It's written by Jonathan Hickman.

Great artwork. But damn Wolverine, must you always suffer an injury or something? Other heroes avoid getting hurt, but it seems that Wolverine takes pleasure in that.

@MAC The event is dealing with most of The Avengers going into deep space to deal with The Builders(from the current Avengers run) while they go into deep space, Thanos decides to invade Earth. Because most of Earth's heroes are off in deep space.

With DC fumbling the Kevin Maguire ball, I'm kind of hoping that after his issue of Guardians of the Galaxy (and providing he doesn't pick up the run later on, or moves to something like Daredevil or Captain Marvel- both of which would be perfect for him) he's part of an Inhumans launch.

I'm not sure they can sustain a long term monthly these days, but a miniseries in the aftermath of Infinity utilizing Maguire's gift for faces would be fantastic. He might be one of the very few who can deliver a fully communicative Black Bolt with just facial expressions alone and not a stitch of dialogue.

According to Marvel, Jim Cheung is doing issue 1 & 6. Opena and Weaver are each drawing separate arcs throughout issues 2-5. Opena is drawing the space stuff while Weaver draws the Earth stuff. This sort of thing is going to be Marvel's business strategy going forward. They're going to release near-weekly events multiple times a year where the story is "modular and it makes sense that different artists will be drawing different parts".
