@CampBlood he was actually based on a character much older than Storm Shadow, named Diabolik. His name, Jean-Phillipe is even based on the actor John Phillip Law who played Diabolik in one of the original comicbook movies "Danger: Diabolik"

The style has a comedic tone to it.

Fantomex is marvel's best new characters. Hasn't been easy for DC or Marvel to create a good character in a while. One of my favorites - awesome in New X-Men and Uncanny X-Force.
