I miss Eddie Brock's Venom. He was great.

This series has been great... but dont like this at all -.- *sigh* only time will tell if it's worth continuing.

I miss Eddie as Venom.

Lets keep Eddie as Venom, Doc Ock as Doc Ock, and Spidey as Spidey.

I mean I understand that characters change but Flash was the original bully and yeah people mature but I don't like how he's become a hero I was okay with his and Peter becoming friends over time but I dunno haha.

To me Venom will always be Eddie Brock, and the symbiote will always be in love with Peter. Logically this story should end with Toxin becoming flashes symbiote since it's way more compatible with someone in a law enforcement like mentality, and the story should really involve toxin's once playful mentality combating the broken psyche of Flash, while they clean up the streets of Philly.

The venom symbiote should return to its original host with a new found devotion to the only one that's ever really accepted it for what it was, Eddie Brock. Venom should then go back to the lethal protector but instead of returning to San Fran he should just become a roaming anti-hero all over the US using the travelling reporter as his cover. This would allow him to team up and do cross overs with spider-man, scarlet spider, toxin etc.

And for the bonus round, during his first team up with Superior Spider-Man SPock should betray Venom and attempt to reclaim the symbiote (in the name of shield) for himself, but once the symbiote touches him, it instantly notices parkers gone and that he's actually dr. oct. Using it's coded memories of parker, it could restore parkers subconscious before escaping to free Eddie. Eddie at that point knows what happened and fights SPock truly testing his mettle because he ignores spider-sense, is stronger, just as fast and ock has never had to deal with anyone on that level. Venom's unable to go to other heroes for help, though he tries, and whenever peter is restored (preferably as a result of venom's actions) he forms a long standing, but uneasy alliance with venom who continues to roam the country violently protecting the innocent and being a freelance journalist.

It dilutes the unique quality of the original character.

Those of you who don't like the flash series may get your wish. Flash meets superior spider-man in November, there is no solicit for a venom book in November, and I can't find the quote anywhere but back when Slott very first started teasing that there would be a venom story this year he said in an interview something along the lines of "fans miss Eddie Brock as venom". So we'll see.

Not really of fan of the Flash as Venom, but I'm loving this art and it's not really a bad story.
