Why would we want the ultimate universe to be more like 616. It's point is to be different. Mainstream marvel is so weak and lame it should be them who had a total reboot new 52 style. Ultimate is way better than main marvel. 616 is the same rehased stories over and over again. They are too afraid to try anything edgy. And when they do it sucks. (I'm looking at you Superior spiderman)

I finished all of ultimate spider-man with peter. but how's ultimate spider with the new kid? y'all think that SpOck will be gone, 616 peter will be back, and then Amzaing spider-man would have to train ultimate spider-man. And Alpha(616) and Ultimate spider man could be friends :) my idea © :P

With the exception of Loeb's "contributions" to Ultimate, the actual books have been remarkably well-written, well-illustrated, and well-edited. Calling it the "twincestverse" is [frick]ing ridiculous. It references a couple issues that have been poorly received and, for the most part, disregarded. The large majority of the issues published under the imprint have been very good.

Yeah, that's Wolverine's son. As you should know, Wolverine is dead. No longer in the Ultimate comics.

I at least find myself enjoying the Ultimate universe a lot more than anything else from Marvel. Awesome action, big events with big consequences, interisting characters and i love almost all new origins they have given to the new characters.

I can understand disagreeing with the direction of certain parts of the UU, it's one thing to be disappointed in some things, but I cannot agree with it being boring. The ultimate U is fantastic because it's not Just An Updated Version Of The 616, but like Earth 2 is to the DCU.

The Ultimate universe served its purpose: to update the characters for film. Now that we have a cinematic universe, it makes a great snack for Galactus.

Miles will definitely survive. He's been to the 616 before, so he'l fit right in. Methinks that both he and Mysterio will escape since they have a bone to pick with the new Mysterion.

Ultimates, Ultimate Spider-man and X-men got me into comics again. Too bad these books lost their quality after a while. Thank you Brian Bendis and Mark Millar.
