Who thought making Star-Lord's hair look like Adam Levine's gay hairdo from SNL would be a good idea?

Anyways, looks okay, I'll pick it up.

Has Steve McNiven departed slightly from his usual style or is it just me? It works really well but it looks different to his normal work.

Maybe it's the colors (which are awesome by the way) or the fact that there's not as many lines as he usually does.

Great art, terrible costume designs. Bendis is overrated and I definitely dont have any intention of supporting him.

@Jollem
Agree to disagree.

He's no Jeph Loeb... he has done SOME good things for Marvel, but hes has his specialties... he's not suited for anything and everything IMO. But hey, to each their own. I know I cant stand him 80% of the time.

Bendis has been fantastic on Ultimate Spider-Man and New Avengers. Secret War was great. He's not the be all and end all of comics like Marvel have treated him.

I know McNiven said he wanted to draw Starlord with more facial emotions, but its not like his helmet doesn't have a retractable faceplate....

Annihilation, the Guardians of the Galaxy books from 2008, Thanos Imperative, and the first story arc of Avengers Assemble

Star Lord needs his mask. Great art though. Hope this is good, and Star Lord gets his mask soon!

My one hope is that Star-Lord killed Richard Rider in a fashion that is permanent enough to make fanboys shut up.
