I love the detail in this. For those who would sooner say this isn't "wow" worthy, I'd like to see you try to draw a bustling cityscape with pencils, ink, and color. I can immediately tell this cover art has both western and eastern influence in the comic and anime art department combined. Coipel has always been a stickler for details and this shows off how good he can get with it. I'd want to print some of his stuff and hang them out as huge posters for the way he does them, and this cover is no exception.

@NerdyGeek- Are you going to make us pay $7.99 for that?

The only problem I have with the cover is the thread of web coming out of Spidey's wrist looks like semen. Then again, the origin of Spider-Man involves a teenage male being able to shoot white sticky stuff from his wrists.

Alread saw it . The issue is the last issue of Amazing Spider-Man and it's in giant size : 104 Pages drawn by Humberto Ramos , Buscema , Camuncoli etc ... And wrote by the Genius Dan Slott .

Nice layout by Olivier but it needs to be inked - badly. Olivier usually works with Mark Morales who is by far the best inker in the industry. Justin Ponsonr's colors help but the functional problem with this cover is it desperately needs inks -

@PaulKemp

I wouldn't say it 'desperately' needs inks, but you are right Coipel + Morales is a win and lets not forget Laura Martin

I dont get it? This is the 700th issue and ALL the covers are...meh. Ive seen regular issue comics with way better cover art. Im really disappointed in these and I hate to say that. Im buying them of coarse since I collect comics, but I had high hopes for these:(

Seriously? Yearlong celebration? So a couple of days is a year for Marvel? It's been the LAMEST anniversary EVER! And ending the anniversary the way they are is just.....a slap in the face. But like I've said before,PERFECT jumping off point for anything Marvel. Even the Marvel Figurines Collection from Eaglemoss saw that one coming,LOL!

Speaking of which,they're ending on issue 200,but there's still a bunch of Spidey related figurines they never got round to. No fair. I only collected the Spidey related ones. Luckily for me,they're doing a Star Trek starships from February,recently got the license to do Doctor Who and in Jaunary they start their Batmobiles collection,in the UK at least,and there's one or three Batmobiles I just have to get! Not the Tumbler,that's not a Batmobile,it's just a piece of junk,lol! Looks like some kid made a cardboard Batmobile,lol.

Have fun y'all!

Please let Peter Porker stay dead, this is becoming tiresome. I have all the Spider-man comics since the first issue in different formats and I feel now's the time to stop collecting, it's becoming worse and worse.
