• Yeah, Scott Summers may be serving aboard a ship full of space-pirate killers and cutthroats, but as he gets to know them, they seem like nice killers and cutthroats. Especially the Captain, who's starting to treat Scott like the son he never had.

•And ESPECIALLY the Captain's cute daughter, who wants to make kissy-face at every opportunity.

•So what's the problem? Well, it might have something to do with that stolen super-weapon sitting in the pirate ship cargo hold—the one powerful enough to blow up an entire solar system! Everybody in the galaxy wants it... but nobody wants to pay for it!

I need this in movie form ASAP Cyclops and the Starjammers. You know to make up for him only having 2 1/2 minutes screen time so far.

@Thesephyr

Beast brought original five x-men to the future to show cyclops how much he has changed. Eventually Shi'ar put past jean grey on trial. Cyclops met His father and decided to stay with him.

I will forever praise Marvel for this series. You took a character like Cyclops who's only defining traits have been he's a leader, a mutant, and lover of jean grey(apparently psychics). And I've ALWAYS hated him, I thought he was lame, cliched, and way over used. But NOW? Omg. I love both Cyclops' they've got running around. One's a mutant revolutionary bent on saving his people and doesn't care who or what he has to go through to get it. and The other's this guy right here, in space with his dad flying around and having fun, discovering himself(and taking us along for the ride). Fantastic. I'm getting the first full volume on monday and I'm stoked. READ. THIS. BOOK.

I actually loved the concept behind the beginning of "All New X-Men" traveling back in time to bring the traditional x-Mwn to the future. It could honestky work for a reboot within the MCU if that every happens that is, all you gotta do is change up the main reasoning for them being brought to the future and bam!

Really sick of time travel. And needing two or three of every character.

@Teois good points. It is great to see them letting a character progress.

Sales are not good, it should be cancelled in the 3 issues. It's doing better than Storm, but just under She-hulk and Captain Marvel. Right now All New X-Factor is the benchmark for what marvel is keeping for more than 12 issues, and there are 3 comic titles doing better than Cyclops.

What an excellent series. Young Scott has really grown on me, and that is the most character development Corsair has had in decades.

@dethpillow
I concur wholeheartedly with your remarks. A lot of "new series" are just extended limited series getting a test run. Unfortunately, we are not privy to what Marvel wants to go on indefinelty or not.

I would love for Ant-man to be a long run, I enjoyed the first issue, and I think the movies do influence Marvel Comics publications more than they want to admit. That being said Captain Marvel isn't doing so great with sales, but I suspect Marvel would want it to be around (or a new volume) when the Captain Mavel movie comes out in 2016. I mean look how well Rocket Racoon sales are doing, definitely better than most would predict.

@Mercwitham0uth I sorta wish Mister Sinister was in that last panel instead of Magneto.
