@DrDoom well my mistake, and I agree people can have an opinion but going so far as to call is "shitty" and saying it's done by 5th graders just comes across as being rude, the art is crisp and pretty straight forward, almost reminds me of an animated series.

I thought that was Bette Midler on the first cover when I saw the article image.

That's not good.

@DrDoom Did I miss something? When did Carol die? I don't read her solo book but I might pick it up.

It's so ridiculous of Marvel in trying to make their female characters, e.g., Carol Danvers credible by making them mannish and unattractive.

It's like they're trying to hide the characters' feminity... X-Men (X-women roster), Fearless Defendenders (Female avengers)...

@Oh yeah, I read that, that's the Age of Ultron universe, which is why some comics got 2 issues with the same number, but with AU in front of it, she's still alive in 616.

Everybody is striking their best "action pose" except for the Hulk, who looks like he just saw Jonah Hill dancing in a thong in the apartment across the street.

This is a prime example as to why I quit buying new books after 40 years. The characters now look incredibly stupid with Hulk armor and Cap armor and Superman armor, and the level of creative talent has hit an all time low. Just reading the splash page it became obvious this was poorly written trash, and it only got worse as the pages go on. Just bottom of the barrel now for Marvel. I'll stick to the back issues that remind me how great the company used to be.

And the art does look like animation art. Animation art lacks depth and detail BECAUSE IT'S ANIMATION! They have to render thousands of drawings. In the comic book medium you have about 16 pages of artwork. You can and SHOULD expect better than animation quality work. It's crap. Plain and simple.
