there's a pretty big difference between inhumans & xmen though. Mutants want to live side by side with humanity, and the Inhumans just want to be left to themselves.

Now, they're FORCED to walk side by side with humans. Also, the new generation who are used to being normal aren't. The clashes between the old-school and new-school Inhuman hopefully will drive the series really far. Looking forward to it.

Agreed! Using the Inhumans to fill the "mutant void" in the MCU is brilliant! I think this approach is even better than having mutants cuz it introduces a whole new species to the MCU that probably would have never been explored.

The MCU is growing beautifully by showcasing ALL of the many layers of Marvel. Earth, Asgard, Cosmic and soon Mystic with Dr. Strange. And now " Inhumans/mutants ". Ya gotta love it!!!

Nick Bradshaw does very cool comic book art.
He has his own style but has elements of the great Art Adams & some Carlos D'Anda too.

Inhumans on film would be sweet.

Anyone not wanting more Inhuman love is an idiot. Period. This idea from some idiots that Marvel shouldn't expand on the often overlooked and criminally underused Inhumans is ridiculous.

Btw, that art is freaking spectacular! Comfort her Cap. Comfort her real good. ; )

Inhumans and Mutants are the same thing. They're individuals with extraordinary powers that some times look different. Other than that, they're the same. One is just more popular than the other.

Well I'm interested to see how the Inhuman series goes, especially after reading the Inhumanity #1 & UXM Inhumanity tie-in. Shame that Fraction won't be writing it...which makes his departure from F4 & FF (their soon relaunch) in vain.

Medusa is one of my favourite characters!
That art is beautiful. Wow.

Is Black Bolt really presumed dead? I know he went into hiding, but I could swear I saw him interacting with either the rest of the Illuminati or the Avengers after Attilan blew. Or are they hiding his survival from the rest of the Inhumans? In the last issue, no one mentioned this or even raised an eyebrow about Medusa's belief that Black Bolt is dead.

@WruceBayne I think the main difference between mutants and this current batch of Inhumans is that the latter will be manifesting their powers immediately, no matter what their stage in life (whereas mutants usually start showing at puberty).

@NoAssemblyReqd

I'm pretty sure he's only presumed dead. Of course the members of the Illuminati aren't going to say a word about seeing him post Attilan explosion. I think in the epilogue of Infinity him and Maximus have gone into hiding.

HUH! I would not doubt if they make Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver Inhumans for the next Avenger Movie

Didn't Quicksilver regain his powers via the Mist?
So it's not like they're straying completely away from the material.
So I don't mind if that's how they get their powers.

I read Inhumanity 1 and it was a good read. I like the set up cuz its like, Kree came and experimented on the human race so theres potential for everyone to have inhuman genes. Since Thanos came to destroy that Kingdom, Bolt was like "jokes on you" and set the bomb off. I agree its gonna be just like mutants because it causes mass paranoia, but the potential is great. I wonder how theyre gonna introduce them into the MCU (whether its AoU wit Wanda and Pietro or an Inhuman movie)

@Cherry He did at Son of M after the events of House of M where he lost his powers thanks to Wanda. But I'm not sure how much the twins will be involved with the Inhumans in the mcu... The point of their origin story is that they don't have a family, if they were raised by the Inhumans they would consider them as family so they wouldn't feel like joining the Avengers. Maybe they got their powers from the terrigen mist and then they started working for Baron Von Strucker?? We'll have to wait until May 2015

The Inhumans are great, Fraction and Bradshaw are great and I liked the first issue of Inhumanity. Black Bolt in a movie would be awesome!! And think of Medusa's hair in a film.. Just wow!!! I hope they'll announce an Inhumans movie at Comic Con!!!

One thing: keep Medusa away from Wolverine. Redheads tend to make Logan a little goofy...
