X23 is one of my favorite female characters & someone Marvel can actually delve into her backstory without messing up years of continuity. More X23 makes me happy.

Great. Another comic painting Christians as stupid, bigoted zealots. Just what we need. Thanks, Marvel.

@Grimfoe,
Christians have about 1800 years of persecution, torture and rigid fundamentalism they were willing to kill others for. They've portrayed themselves that way for several centuries.
Thank Allah for Pope Francis, someone actually trying to emulate Christ's example instead of one claiming to know what "God wants", condemning others for "sin", or my favorite, the modern-day complaining of being marginalized or persecuted in some way.

@Orpheus:

I'm not trying to start a flame war, but here is my pitch:

People are not perfect. Therefore, ANY organization of people is flawed and imperfect, regardless of the noble ideals on which they are founded. One needs only to look at our government or school system to see that. The list of flawed organizations is endless. Churches are no different. While it's easy to focus on the damage done by the flawed individuals in these organizations, it's awfully convenient for individuals to use these mistakes to condemn the entire organization and all that it stands for. Would you close our government or schools for all the damage done by them?

Man cannot understand the will or intent of the creator. It is akin to an ant looking up at you as you walk by and understanding your day to day motivations and intent. That doesn't mean we shouldn't try and that we shouldn't do our best to live in the manner God would want us to.

To that end, the Church has fed, clothed and housed the homeless and sick. It has done more to treat the ill than any other organization. MUCH good has been done by people of faith. Regular church goers give more money to charity than those that don't go, for example.

I'm just saying it would be nice to see people of faith portrayed in a positive manner every now and then. At worst, people of faith are portrayed as evil hypocrites and at best we're naïve simpletons that don't really understand how things work.

I'm not naïve and I'm not simple. I'm an educated man that runs my own business and I give generously. My friends that sit around me in church are the same. We don't think we have all the answers, but we are struggling to do the right thing and to help those around us, when we can.

I have to admit I've never followed X23. My only experience with her is the AvX storyline. I thought the idea of a female Wolverine clone was kind of dumb. Seems to be a lot of love for her here, though?

She have a pretty decent origin? Is she a pretty well developed character?

I use to feel the same way about X-23, but then I read "Innocence Lost" & "Target X" and began to like her way more than Wolverine.

If X-23 and "Young Cyclops" hook up, things are going to get very awkward between Wolverine and Adult Cyclops.
