Message to the CBM community:
To those who are making requests, check first [here] because I might have done an article on the character already. If I have not, please be patient, I will get on it as soon as possible (but consider the fact that I spend hours writing one of these articles). Try to limit your request to characters that already have been adapted to live media, so that the feature will at least be relevant to the site – Comic Book Movie(though I include TV characters). Characters in Manga or Anime’, I am not particularly familiar of, I am not discounting these characters but it will probably take some time before I write a feature on them because I have to read up on these characters. Thank you for reading these articles! If there are errors on the feature article above, blame it on my age, humanity and ignorance. Just be sure to check the comment section for the corrections, any error I made will surely be pointed out and corrected by much bigger geeks (because there will always be a bigger geek out there). -This has been PollMaster inviting you to the geekside. MABUHAY CBM and Godspeed!

@DesertGorilla Emil Hamilton is a character from DC, usually a villain but he's a good guy in Smallville.
Seeing Cap on Wednesday, so excited. The speech Erksine makes which is used in the UK TV spot, about Steve remembering who he is "not just a soldier, but a good man" gives me chills in the adds alone, I bet it's amazing in the film!

@Poll lol the battle between Erksine and Hamilton is a bit unnecessary isnt it? :P

Should've mentioned Dr. Maria Vaselli - Erskine's female counterpart in the 1990 Captain America flick.

i love Stanley Tucci in this role. small casting decisions like this can help make a movie great. Like J.K. Simmons as J. Jonah Jameson or Sam Rockwell as Justin Hammer. Both great actors who knocked it out of the park in their respective roles.
you cant just get anyone to play a comic book character, it has to be someone who truly understands character development. If not, it will look to hokey. Casting can make or break a CBM.

Tucci was fantastic in this role. I honestly had never thought much of him as an actor until after TFA.

@themayer

Oh yeah, I can't picture anyone EVER in the role of Jameson except J.K. Simmons now.

Agreed.
Tucci was PERFECT for the role in Cap.
He made the role BELIEVABLE for me.
The way he interacted with Chris Evans in my opinion helped the Steve Rogers charachter form and re-form into someone you would want on your side.

I'd like to see the US Agent, JOHN WALKER introduced in the SEQUEL. I always liked JOHN WALKER more than Steve Rodgers, but I like STEVE too.

Poor MVP, it appeared he would be the star of the "Initiative" book, and was killed in the first five minutes in to that Danger Room. I was honestly surprised.
