Thrillbent Reader App

Thrillbent has announced the launch of an all-new Thrillbent Comic Reader iPad App that further enhances the company's reputation for providing its fans with state-of-art technology to enjoy the wonders that can only be found in digital comics.

The reader app provides Thrillbent users with the ability to read all their comics in one place as they can import their personal collection of PDFs, CBZs, CBRs, and Comixology downloads directly from Dropbox into the Thrillbent Comic Reader. Additionally, the comic reader will allow users to view facing pages as they were intended - as one seamless piece of art - and enjoy full screen reading with easy zoom and page turning designed to get the interface out of your face.

At launch, the Thrillbent Comic Reader will have access to more than 50 Free comics from writers and artists including industry luminaries Mark Waid, Karl Kesel, James Tynion IV, Alex de Campi (see our interview with her!), Geoffrey Thorne, and Barry Kitson. Users will also have access to Thrillbent exclusives, and a growing library of more than 350 comics, with new ones added every week.

The Thrillbent reader app is now available via iTunes!

I tried all digital for a while, but nothing beats holding the comic in hand

Digital is the best. It's the wave of the future. In the next few years the publishers will stop putting out printed comics because it's so much more cost effective to use the digital format.

Mark Waid predicted last year that there won't be anymore paper comics in 5 years.

Meh, whatever's not on Scribd I just torrent, upload to Google Drive, and then open up in Sidebooks. Sidebooks hasn't let me down yet!

You did not just read an admission of illegal activity, I swear it.

@dethpillow

It was on the War Rocket Ajax podcast, which is comicalliance.com's podcast. I just think digital is easier because you don't have to get your ass up and go to a store, you can just sit at your computer/tablet/phone and order a comic you want that second. I might have to look into the Marvel Unlimited subscription, though.
