CONSTANTINE Season 1, Episode 13 Description; "Waiting For The Man" - Season Finale

NBC have released the first synopsis for the final episode of Constantine, and it sounds like it will be a big one as we finally learn the truth behind the Rising Darkness and Detective Jim Corrigan (Emmett Scanlan), a.k.a. The Spectre, returns. Check it out!

A YOUNG GIRL’S ABDUCTION REUNITES JOHN AND JIM CORRIGAN – EMMETT SCANLAN AND MICHAEL JAMES SHAW RETURN – John (Matt Ryan) and Zed (Angélica Celaya) return to New Orleans when Detective Jim Corrigan (guest star Emmett Scanlan) asks for their help in the case of a missing girl. Papa Midnite (guest star Michael James Shaw) takes steps toward exacting his revenge on John. Meanwhile, the truth behind the Rising Darkness comes to light. Harold Perrineau also stars.

It's more than a little depressing to think that this might just be the last ever episode of Constantine, but even a new time slot doesn't seem to have done the NBC series that much good. Of course, it was doomed for a start in some ways, but here's hoping a miracle happens and we end up getting a second season...anyway, what do you guys think about this official description? NBC really screwed up big time by putting it on Fridays!
This show deserves another chance on a DIFFERENT night!

I so hope another season will be given for this show. I really would like to see Amazon pick it up though. They have the exclusive Europe rights to the show and with them in charge of the series they could add more depth and maturity to it too. If Netflix has Marvel, why can't Amazon have DC?

Yep -- needs another chance in a better slot with better marketing. Ryan is superb. Show has gotten better every week.

great show, tonight's episode so far has been real good. Hopefully they'll pick it up for another season, or get picked up by another network.

Let me guess. Jim Corrigan will "die" in the season finale with the intent of the show-runners bringing him back as the Spectre in season 2 (which may or may not happen).

The show is spectacular! We finally get to see a real comic-book adapted British Constantine brilliantly portrayed by a talented actor on a big screen with real DC villains (Felix Faust, Papa Midnite, The Spectre, the helmet of Dr. Fate))....AND Constantine is the leader of the Justice League Dark in the comics...and what does NBC do? They piss it all away running it on Fridays from the outset. Hello, NBC Execs?! Did you hear what I said? Constantine is the main artery to JUSTICE LEAGUE DARK...the 2 BIG words JUSTICE LEAGUE are connected, if not can be connected to your show...those 2 BIG words are HUGE money makers....and you run it on Friday nights? I'll tell you what NBC...why don't you just take all your money and invest it in the real estate market in Antarctica?! How the hell do you run a show that has the words JUSTICE LEAGUE connected to it and you piss it away like that? Here's some GOLDEN INVESTMENT ADVICE for you, NBC: Keep it going another season running it earlier in the week in an earlier slot...introduce Alec Holland/Swamp Thing, Zatanna, and Deadman....then spin it off into a third season advertising the show as changing its name to Justice League Dark!

NBC does not deserve such nice shows like this Hannibal,Grimm and many other shows NBC has cancelled just after the first season.I just hope the CW buy it so they can have all DC franchise under one roof.Plus it was so cool how they put on everybody on Comic Con.
