There's definitely going to be footage from "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" show during tomorrow's San Deigo Comic Con panel, however, director Marc Webb states that fans won't get a peek at the Rhino. Webb says that what fans will see tomorrow is unfinished footage and that the visuals for Rhino are no where close to being presentation worthy.
Touching on Electro (Jamie Foxx), Webb gave a quick example of how the villain will combat Spider-Man in the film. Said Webb on the electricity based villain, "He's somebody who just his touch has the power of a thousand third rails and will obliterate anybody near him." He continued, "I think it's incredibly exciting to play with that kind of power. Spider-Man's greatest weapon is that web and when he shoots a web at Electro, there's a current and webs are conductive and that's going to pose some real issues for Spider-Man so I thought that was a really fun villain to unleash on New York and on Spider-Man."
Moving back to the Rhino, Webb also stated that the villain only makes a "teasing appearance" in the film and that Electro is the primary antagonist. Perhaps all the other villains said to feature, also are regulated to "teasing cameos" as setup for future installments?
