SDCC '13: Warner Bros. Expected To Announce BATMAN/SUPERMAN Movie For 2015 Release!

This is incredibly exciting news: Warner Bros. is expected to announce its Man Of Steel follow-up at SDCC today, which will see Superman team up with Batman. Director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David S. Goyer are expected to reunite with star Henry Cavill for the feature.

Despite rumors of Justice League and even a Batman reboot being scheduled for 2015, it appears that Warner Bros. is going another route for that year. According to Hero Complex, the Man Of Steel follow-up will be a Batman/Superman team-up movie. WB is expected to announce this at its San Diego Comic-Con panel today. Man Of Steel director Zack Snyder and screenwriter David S. Goyer are returning, as well as (of course) star Henry Cavill. Christopher Nolan (producer of Man Of Steel and director of The Dark Knight Trilogy) may produce, but his exact involvement is unknown. However, as previously confirmed, don't expect Christian Bale to return as Batman. 2015 is already packed with blockbusters, with The Avengers 2, Star Wars: Episode VII, Jurassic Park 4, Ant-Man, a Terminator reboot and more expected to be released that year. However, Batman/Superman will hopefully stand out as it continues to finally create a DC Cinematic Universe.

I would LOVE this to happen. But like Cavill and Snyder said, superman is not ready to either lead a team or meet someone else, I believe we need MOS2 first and then WORLD'S FINEST, but damn, hope this is true.

After Rises, good, rather not see Bale in it, though it would've been cool, just ignore the last 10 minutes of Rises if it did ever happen.

They don't need to give Batman his own movie, just introduce him in this one then partner him with Superman, we already know his origin and his rogues so why bother setting him up in his own movie?

When have you ever seen a ninja wear a grey suit or a navy seal wear a grey suit? Exactly. Its because they try to stay hidden and in the shadows, and black is kind of looks like darkness. Bright grey isn't going to help Bats blend in.
