As SDCC approaches, THR has put together a special geek-tacular issue featuring current fan-favorite stars Zoe Saldana (GOTG), Nathan Fillion (Serenity), Grace Park and Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica posing as some very familiar faces.

Just in case you're not too well up on your classic sci-fi, that's Grace Park and Katee Sackhoff as Luke and Han from Star Wars, Nathan Fillion as Captain Kirk from the original Star Trek, and Zoe Saldana as Ellen Ripley from Aliens. The Guardians of the Galaxy actress is also THR's cover star (see below) and if you click the link at the bottom of the page you can check out an interview with her.

Those are some weird combos. Also is anyone else having trouble seeing the pictures? I'm not sure if it's because I'm on the phone and they just aren't loading.

@JBatesyFilmreviews Nathan Fillon could easily pull off an older version of Chris Pine's Kirk. They are both possess a dry and quirky sense of humor, equally capable of mockery and sincerity, not to mention a mischievous and resourceful nature. Nathan would be a perfect match should they decide to reboot an older Kirk following in the spirit of Chris Pine. Jeremy Renner would be a tasteful choice as well, although he lacks some of Nathan's sci fi repertoire. And no, Avengers does not make up for that.

Nathan Fillion should have been Hank Pym in Ant-Man... Somewhere, in an alternate dimension he is and I and the rest of the world get to see the Ant-Man movie we should have seen. I guess that is comforting.
