On Indiana Jones 5:

“Oh sure, I’d love to do it,” Harrison told Access Hollywood of a possible fifth film in the Indy franchise. "If there’s something that the three of us can agree on then I’d love to do it,” Harrison continued.

“George is working on something now, but I haven’t really seen anything on paper,” Harrison said. “We’ve talked a little bit about it. It would be fun.”

On Cowboys And Aliens:

“I just finished "Cowboys & Aliens" with Daniel Craig, directed by Jon Favreau,” he said. “It was really a good experience and I had a great time.”

“I had thought maybe I’d never get to make another cowboy movie,” Harrison said. "They’re so rare these days, but this was a really intriguing project and I think it’s gonna be very exciting."

“It’s a real cowboy movie, looks like a cowboy movie, feels like a classic cowboy movie, and then things happen, and then it goes back to being a cowboy movie with this added element,” he continued. “And I think it’s the kind of film that there’s a real broad audience for. I’m very excited for it. I think it’s going to be good.”

Cowboys & Aliens is gonna be friggin awesome!

As for another Indiana Jones film, I'm all for it. Yes, the last one sucks the sweat off a dead man's b-lls, but look at it like this:

Raiders of the Lost Ark ------------------------ GREAT
Indiana Jones/the Temple of Doom --------------- sucked
Indiana Jones/the Last Crusade ----------------- GREAT
Indiana Jones/the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull - sucked

Which means the next one...

Indiana Jones/meets Jahozafat at the bar ------- GREAT

Hopefully both of those movies will be good. I think Indy 4 was kind of a meh for me but it was definitely not Harrison Ford's fault.

IT was painful watching Harrison Ford as Indy in Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Made me think about my own mortality and I felt sorry for him. Not the kind of emotions I'd normally expect from watching an Indiana Jones movie. Thanks for the memories Mr ford, but it's time to let it go.

They could easily make another great Indiana Jones movie but they need to set it before the last one, like they did with Raiders and Temple.

Bring back Connery and get rid of Shia, it's that simple. I don't even hate him, he just doesn't fit in that world at all.

Indy should kill his son and bury him for 1000 years in the next movie...

A New Star Wars film set after Return of the Jedi would be beyond EPIC. It would make more money than Avatar. What's going on Lucas? Don't you like money? I mean you make like 10 different versions of the Star Wars original trilogy and distribute it on many different formats, selling the same 3 movies over and over and still making money off of them. What about a new Star Wars film using the same 3 actors that made the classic trilogy worth watching. You're sitting on a Gold Mine George.

I'd love another Indiana Jones (I thought that the fourth one was great fun even though it wasnt as good as the original three) and cannt wait to see Ford in Cowboys and Aliens. Great find BLEED! :)

Yes to another Indie, only this time: NO GREEN SCREEN ACTING!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Keep it real, Keep it old school. It was based off of the old 1940's serials. Go back to that style of film making for God's sake.

@ solidsnake007 - first off, good name, we are both fans of the same franchise haha. I totally agree with you, i actually liked indy 4 but my biggest complaint with it was the over use of green screen, sure it appropriate at times but not for 90% of the [frick]ing movie. What made the originals great were that they were real and had real effects and were actually shot on location of portrayal meaning that they actually filmed in egypt and so forth. when you have it green screen you lose all sense of realism and familiarity. Lucas's biggest downfall was his discovery of the powers of technology in the film industry. Just cuz you have the ability to do something doesn't mean you should. Thats why i hated the star wars prequels so much was cuz each movie had like 4 actors and the rest was green screen, i miss the old days with puppets and guys in masks.

SolidSnake007 - 11/8/2010, 5:02 PM
@GreyFox1025- Agreed completely. Good meet you. Grey Fox is the SH*T! and yeah realism is what makes a movie believable. You lose that and you lose the audience. Like most of George Lucas' franchises,Indie 4 was a good idea. Lucas just screwed it up somewhere down the line. Go back to what works.

Ok, all you haters...lighten up a little. Indy 4 was good (except for the alien ending). I'm not a big Shia fan but I see potential in the young man and if he took up the mantle, er fedora, I think it would work as long as he makes the role his own and not try to copy Ford. Connery, by his own admission, is retired from acting and won't look at anybody's script....EVER! If an Indy 5 ever comes out, I'm first in line!

I have a feeling Indy 5 had a story and was all ready to go before KOTCS came out. When it did come out and got bashed to hell, I think Spielberg & Lucas forced themselves to rethink the direction of the franchise..... aliens, CGI gophers, a third act that doesn't make sense, Shia Labeouf, etc...

I will like to see the Indiana Jones Part 5 maybe introduce the female counterpart of Indiana Jones like a Niece to his brother's side of the family.

@BrutalDuke
I have read almost every expanded universe book and there are several good trilogy's out there. The best would be the Thrawn trilogy imho. There is a hard cover series right now that's called the Fate of the Jedi that is very good. A lot of them are meh though, but they fill in the void of after ROTJ.

Only idiots would hate to see another Indy movie. They couldn't mess it any worse than Crystal Skull. It's not going to destroy your childhood memories.

I say we see Han Solo adventures for the new TV show. Carrie Fisher can play the older, overweight, retired-senator Leia who is now a house mom. Solo and Chewie got out looking for chicks and bust in some heads while they're at it.

The Bond deal won't work with Indy. Bond was an established character before the films whereas Ford essentially created the character; it's his charisma that made it work and it's his signature role. As for Han Solo... you've go a better chance of seeing him do porn :-)

i can sum the indy movies up:

parts 1&3- powerful religious artifacts+ nazis= WIN
parts 2&4- glowing rocks+ younger kids= fail

aliens and heavy CGI also =FAIL bc those are just not Indy movies

i'm all for another Indy movie, it needs to end on a good note, something legendary and epic. Nazi remnants and a search for Atlantis would be awesome. Nazi's are a win as villans anytime.
