Daredevil stars Charlie Cox and Vincent D'Onofrio recently reprised their roles from the now cancelled Netflix series, making their MCU debuts as Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk in Spider-Man: No Way Home and Hawkeye, respectively.
Since then, fans have been speculating about where these characters could show up next, and we may now have confirmation that both Daredevil and Kingpin will indeed factor into the upcoming Echo Disney+ series.
Costume designer Stacy Caballero is reportedly set to work on the Hawkeye spinoff next year, and her resume (via CBR) lists both Cox and D'Onofrio alongside series lead Alaqua Cox. Though the leak has been widely circulated and does appear to be legit, we're not entirely convinced. For one, D'Onofrio's name is spelled wrong!
Still, the Kingpin's return in Echo was almost a given after his "niece" Maya Lopez put a bullet in his eye in the season finale of Hawkeye upon coming to the realization that he was the one responsible for her father's death, and while the Man Without Fear's involvement might be a little more dubious, it would make sense given the characters' shared history in the comic books.
For now, the plot of Echo remains under wraps. We do know that Graham Greene (Wind River, Dances With Wolves) has joined the cast in an undisclosed role, and a recent post from Reservation Dogs director Sydney Freeland appeared to confirm that she will helm at least one episode of the show.
